Reserving a spot was easy. Staff was terrific, start to finish. Thomas did a wonderful job of keeping everyone engaged as well as in time. Be prepared to walk. It is a steep climb to the castle and lots of stairs inside. Overall, a great day trip.

Gia, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review on your castle tour with Nic!! See you next time ;)
Booked with Radius Tours who collected us from Munich and drove us there and back. We had Charlie H as our guide and he was excellent. Very easy to listen to and highly knowledgeable about the location and wider Germany. Large, comfortable coach and loads of flexibility about stop offs. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the 5 star recommendation of your tour to the castle with Charlie and Radius tours, much appreciated.
Best thing about the trip was our driver and guide. Jake our guide was clearly enamored of the history and intrigue surrounding Neuschwanstein. His relaxed demeanor, sense of humor, and connection with the tour goers not only kept the trip light-hearted, but imparted a great deal of historical reference. He kept things organized and clearly communicated options and expectations. We would highly recommend the tour, just make sure you get Jake as your guide !
Jake for the win!!! Thanks so much for your review and for your kind words. We hope that we can welcome you again at Radius Tours on your next trip to Munich :)
A wonderful trip which I’d thoroughly recommend. Stephanie was our guide and she enthusiastically and energetically conveyed her knowledge to us. She really wanted us to enjoy the experience by meeting up with us at different places to ensure we got to see everything. The castle is beautiful but be prepared for plenty of steps inside and if you can comfortably manage uphill, the walk is lovely to the castle. The only downside was the location of the meeting point outside the office which felt a little deserted on an early Sunday morning. All in all though, I would definitely recommend this trip.
We very much appreciated your great feedback and recommendations, it is very much appreciated!
Small group of 12, we got to know each other on the train ride. Had a knowledgable and entertaining tour guide, John.
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed your day out!
We actually missed the tour. They changed the time in us from 7:15am to 9:00am We never got new documents and the link that was sent out did not work to find out where to meet
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback Debbie. Your tour was always booked for the 9.15 AM deparutre, there is no departure with any company in Munich that would be starting this tour at 7 AM. We had waited here at our departure point for you, but unfortunately we do have to leave on time to value our other guests time on the tour. Thanks for your understanding.
I will tell them that Radius Tours is extremely exceptional with their service, information, transportation, and our tour guide Michael. Michael is so knowledgeable about Germany history and he provided us with a lot of facts about the castle! He is very entertaining!
Rebeca, Thank you so much for this great review of the Neuschwanstein Tour from Munich with Michael as the guide. All the best, Radius Tours
Wonderful day trip and outstanding guide, LEON! Before the trip we were wondering will 10 hours feel like too long? And the answer is - No! Leon was extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. He made the bus ride fly by and the castle is so beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
