This was one of, if not the best, tours and tour guides we’ve ever had. Our Guide, Jake, gave us so much additional context and explanations to many of the sites around Dachau, including personal family stories. Such a deep and impactful experience - something we will never forget. A huge thank you to Jake from the couple from Arizona! 10/10. Never Forget.
Our tour of Dachau on the morning of 21 June 2026 was thought provoking, informative, memorable and emotional. It’s a tough experience but important and well worth the effort. Our guide was from South Africa and I highly recommend him as he is skilled at imparting the history as well as relating the human stories and tragic events that occurred at Dachau prior to and including WW II. The tour is a must for anyone with an interest in WW II and European history.

This was great tour with Tom who was very knowledgeable. He verbalised a lot of the story boards and this was necessary as the tour was done at a reasonable pace to get through everything. We started at 9am with both train and bus travel involved to get to Dachau. We were back around 3pm with great suggestions from Tom for eating and drinking places. A sobering tour which highlighted the brutality of the SS and Nazi regime.

Very moving experience. Logistics for tour were very good. The guide was very informative but it would have been nice to have more time in each room to read the information. The tour although moving was rushed.

A profoundly moving experience made so much more so with the extensive knowledge of our guide, Sam. His extensive knowledge of all the methods used by those to enable the horrors perpetrated here and the compassion he portrayed for the victims and survivors of this place is something I will never forget. The propaganda tactics that were used are particularly relevant to political tactics used around the world today. I will never forget this place…

A very moving tour. I am so very glad we went with a guide and not on our own. The logistics alone were worth it but Sam’s depth of knowledge, balanced insights, and ability to keep us moving (in spite of the heat) made this a highlight of our trip. There is no way to do this without a ton of walking so bring your water. Book with this tour group and I hope you get Sam as your guide!
