Our guide was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable! Exploring the city on foot with someone who knows the history, culture, and local spots so well made for a fantastic experience. They answered all of our questions and gave us great context throughout the walk. A wonderful way to see Nairobi up close—highly recommend this tour

Excellent experience from start to finish. Timely pick-up at our hotel. Our guide, John, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging along with that charming Kenyan smile. We were the only two on the tour so we were able to ask so many questions covering a wide range of topics about which he was willing to discuss. A larger group may not have afforded such freedom. We would highly recommend taking this walking tour if your expectation is to gain understanding of Nairobi history, current growth and its challenges, and get a feel for the pulse of the city. Nairobi is a robust and unique hub of culture and challenge - take a walking tour!
John was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions and add to our understanding of Nairobi and Kenya. We walked around the city center and saw the sites but it was John’s personal perspectives that really made our tour unique and a wonderful way to start to learn about Nairobi. John shared with us some of his story which really expanded our understanding of life in Kenya
We only had a day and a half in Nairobi on route to our safari tour. But wanted to see what we could in that time - so we booked this walking tour with John and it was perfect! He made the whole group feel safe and at home and had lots of facts, history and funny stories that made the tour fly by. He also made sure everyone got Ubers ok and even walked with us back to our hotel. This your is the perfect way to see Nairobi and get as much info and insight as possible. Could not recommend more!
I had a one on one tour with John. He is an excellent guide being not only informative about the history of areas and buildings we walked past but also about life in Kenya in general. Very personable and easy to listen to. I got a really good feel for the CBD and life in the city in general. Highly recommended from me.
Dennis (with assistant) escorted us around main city centre and made the tour very interesting - very knowledgeable.
John was very knowledgable of cultural and political aspects of life in Kenya and walk was at a good pace.
Our guide (Dennis) was excellent - interesting and informative. We learnt a lot about Kenyan history, culture and politics as well as seeing some fascinating sights around the centre of Nairobi.
