If you are in Nairobi for a short time, this safari is a must-do. The Half-Day Nairobi National Park Safari from Nairobi with Free Pickup gave us a real wildlife experience without needing to travel far. Onesmus was an excellent guide - patient, respectful, and very skilled at spotting animals from a distance. We saw so many animals in just a few hours, including rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, and several bird species. What impressed me most was how close the park is to the city, yet it feels like a completely different world. A great introduction to Kenya’s wildlife.
I joined the Half-Day Nairobi National Park Safari from Nairobi with Free Pickup and found it to be excellent value for money. Pickup was smooth and stress-free. Onesmus was our guide and driver, and he made the experience enjoyable with his deep knowledge of the park. He knew exactly where to go to find animals, and we managed to see zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and even a pride of lions resting under a tree. The vehicle was comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy viewing and photography. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nairobi.
This safari was one of the highlights of my visit to Kenya. The Half-Day Nairobi National Park Safari from Nairobi with Free Pickup is ideal if you don’t have a full day but still want a real safari experience. Onesmus, our guide, was friendly, calm, and very informative. He explained animal behavior in a way that was easy to understand. We were lucky to see lions early in the morning and a variety of herbivores grazing peacefully. The park is surprisingly large and peaceful despite being so close to the city. I highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors.
I honestly didn’t expect much from a safari so close to Nairobi, but this half-day trip completely changed my mind. The Half-Day Nairobi National Park Safari from Nairobi with Free Pickup was well organized from start to finish. Pickup was on time, and our guide, Onesmus, immediately made everyone feel comfortable. He was knowledgeable about the animals and patient when we stopped for photos. We saw lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and even a rhino in the distance. It felt incredible to be so close to wildlife with the city skyline behind us. The experience was short but very fulfilling and perfect for anyone with limited time.
Watson was a great Safari Leader, he was able to locate many great species including Lions, Hyena, Rhinos, Crocks and so many other wonderful animals. He communicated well, not just with the group in his van but with other drivers and using has radio when driving through the park. I have been on a few Safaris before but this is the first time I actually witnessed the guide using the VHF radio kit with which all the safari vehicles are equipped. Watson was very flexible and accommodating, all together a great guide, very knowledgeable and nice to be around. 5 stars.
I had a great experience with Kenya Tours and Safaris. I was picked up at 5:40am and we got to the national park at 6am and were one of the first in the queue. The communication was good throughout the process. Our driver, Watson was very knowledgeable about the different animals and their habits. We got to see rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, giraffes and zebras amongst other animals. Watson really tried to get us to see a lion but it's just luck. Happy with everything else we saw! The elephant centre was amazing. If you're an African citizen, entry to the national park is half price/$40 Would definitely recommend!
My guide Wilson worked hard to show me as much as animal he can. I appreciate his efforts. Everything was great!
Very nice trip. Friendly guide. Saw a lot of nice animals
Watson was excellent guide and we saw sooo much on my first safari. I only wish we had been told to buy national park entry in advance as very stressful time trying to do this online reroute with patch data and an overseas card
