Musée Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera Studio, UNAM Murals Visite privée

Description

Althoughy the sites of the tour ahould not be missed , the tour guide was uninformed , untrained , uneducated about art and architecture and her language skills are not adaquete to be a guide and reading off a cue card. It was a misleading your because we did not get a professional guide that we were promised and planned our trip around . She was a kind person and tried her best but just lacked the skills or training to do the job . The fault is with the company who put her out there without adaquete training and skills . We could not be more disappointed and expect to be refunded .
Elsa was really amazing, knowledgeable and personable. She offered interesting information and answered all our questions! We got so much more of an experience than if we went without a guide.
Elsa, our tour guide, was so informative. She whisked us through the city with ease. Elsa was the perfect guide with knowledge of history, culture and art. She also recommended a wonderful restaurant to celebrate our love of molè. It was a pleasure to spend time with Elsa.
We had a wonderful tour with Neene and learned so much about Frida and Diego. Seeing the places they lived and worked, and learning more details about their lives was so interesting. The Anahuacalli museum was incredible as well. We appreciate Neene’s knowledge and detailed explanations. It was a great experience.
Guide was very personable and kind. She provided lots of detail and handled everything smoothly. She had a very bad fall at the beginning of the tour but despite that got up and carried on. She also helped us get an Uber to return to our hotel.
This tour date just happened to coincide with my husband’s birthday. And what a special day it was. Our guide Neene gave us so much information and insight into the lives of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. The tour was a journey to three different sites. First the studios of Diego, Frida and Juan O’Gorman, architect and designer of the studios. We found it interesting that you can’t tell the story of Diego and Frida without including Juan who was an artist in his own right. Next a tour of Anahuacali Museum, art center and vast grounds built upon ancient lava flows. Juan too had an hand in the design and stunning architecture. Our guide allowed us to explore this space and gave descriptions of the collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts. So interesting! The finial stop brought us to the bustling neighborhood of Coyoacan. Once again our guide was indispensable in explaining the history and background of this place. It is here that we visited Frida’s childhood home and where she later lived out her life. It is hard to encapsulate the information and stories, histories and details that our guide told us. She was so fun and knowledgeable. By the end of the day we felt like we had made a new friend. Thank you for making our day so great. Neene you are world class.
We spent almost 4 hours either Neene and she was incredible! Her knowledge of Frida and Diego Rivera felt intimate and well researched, Neene was enthusiastic and interesting and we felt immersed in Mexican history and culture! Thank you for a great afternoon!
Neene was our guide and she was so lovely. Super passionate about Frida with a lot of knowledge on her. We did three locations; studios, museum and Casa Azul. She never rushed us and worked with us since this was the last tour of our 10 day trip so we were a bit exhausted. She made my mom and fiancé see Frida in a light that they had never seen her before. All three locations are very impressive and they handle the transpo between locations and entrance fees are covered with the cost. I highly recommend Neene. Her English was great, she was excited, knowledgeable and people were even trying to join our private tour because she was so engaging!
We really enjoyed this tour - it was very informative and enjoyable. There was TERRIFIC communication before the tour and we felt very confident we had made a good choice for this important tour. They were very flexible and customized the tour to our specific interests and needs. We felt it was money very well spent! We would highly recommend using this tour company!!
Rodrigo did an excellent job taking us through our entire day while making sure we had plenty of time to see everything. We aren’t fast museum tourists so it was nice to go at our own pace. Each museum was nicely complimented by the previous exhibit and information shared by Rodrigo
