Our family group of 16 (grandparents, parents and grandchildren) had the pleasure of participating in a private day-tour of Pisa and Florence from the port of Livorno, Italy, as provided by Bellaitaliatour - Tour and Transfer in Tuscany. Generally speaking, there were plenty of "moving parts" associated with this tour, from coordinating two vehicles traveling in tandem throughout the day, to purchasing the skip-the-line tickets in advance for the Leaning Tower in Pisa and the Accademia Museum in Florence for the entire group, and then final coordination with a private walking-tour guide in Florence. Overall, the professionals at Bellaitaliatour - from the travel designer in their office, to the two mini-van drivers throughout the day, to the walking tour guide they subcontracted with for this tour - all were amazing in every sense of the word! I truly appreciate the professionalism l which they delivered their services! They provided me with an extremely high level of comfort throughout the process - from the initial planning and all throughout the actual tour! Thank you all for a job very well done! Gary
We had an excellent tour with BellaItalia that was customized for our group. They were wonderful to work with and provided all necessary communications and instruction for easy meeting. We spent the day exploring Florence with the guide who helped navigate and experience the beauty of this amazing city without being rushed! Had a great time visiting the Pisa Tower and the Accademia, as well as exploring the surrounding areas. Our driver/guide (Simona) was very knowledgeable and provided many tips on what to do and were to go. Got us back to the cruise terminal in plenty of time. Highly recommend her and this excursion.
paid an extra 400 dollars for a private tour and got no tour at all. better off if we had hired an Uber for 300 less. I would have rated a 1 or less if he was not a nice guy. Paid the extra money for a private tour instead we got a private driver. I am appealing to my credit card company and will let them sort it out. We are both disabled and wanted to be sure we did not get left behind and the driver dropped us off and left and so we got lost. Could have done it cheaper and gotten closer to action with an Uber. Same thing at the tower in Pisa. Total rilp off A bling guy and 2 people on crutches were looking for help. Driver lefltl us and we were lost. tOTAL RLIP OFF FOR 400 DOLLARS. bE C AREFUL WITH vIATOR. aS i SAID i AM AB LING AND DISABLED SO IT WAS VERY SCARY. tHAT IS WHY i SIGNED UP FOR A PRIVATE TOUR. i DID NOT GET ONE.
Hello Delbert, We appreciate the time and effort you have spent to write this review. We accept all reviews hoping to satisfy our customers expectations. First of all we are really sorry that you feel this way about the tour. In the what's included section, there is no mention of a guide in Florence. The English speaking driver is the person who guides you through the day, provides some information of the area, does a drive tour inside Florence to the most important highlights and then you have some free time on your own to explore it on foot, to take pictures, to have lunch, to visit museums. We also provided skip the line tickets to Uffizi Museum. The tickets do not include a guide inside the museum. Regarding getting lost, you and the driver had each other's contact numbers so he knew where to come at the end of your free time. A local guide would have cost at least 300 more euros. Also, there is no Uber service in the area. You didn't mention the disability before the tour, this way be would have advice against a tour in a crowded city, that also involves a lot of walking. Again, we are sorry that you didn't enjoy the tour of Pisa and Florence and we recommend to anyone reading the review to read carefully the description of the product before booking it.

This was a hugely disappointing experience. For anyone reading the description and other reviews and expecting some type of tour or guided experience, this was not that at all. We basically paid an exorbitant amount for nothing more than a transfer and then museum tickets (which would have cost only $25 a piece had I bought them on our own). Our “driver/guide” seemed nice, but after transporting us into Florence, he dropped us at the museum and told us he’d pick us up in 5 hours. He wasn’t even going to give us the confirmation page for our tickets until I started questioning how we were going to get in. He sent me a text message with the names of 3 places (just their names) he suggested that we see and then pointed in their general direction “down this street”, but we were given zero context, history, or relevant information on anything. As such, when we arrived at these places, we had no idea why it was significant and I completely missed one of the features I’d been hoping to see because I didn’t know to look for it there. I was under the impression this was at least somewhat of a driving tour, but after being picked up again, we were simply taken straight to Pisa - and without the bathroom stop that we requested. At Pisa, my brother asked a pretty simple question and he completely deflected. And I’d like to say that he was at least a decent driver, but he kept arguing with us that the A/C was turned on in the back when it definitely wasn’t - like zero airflow whatsoever - and all he would say is “it’s on… it’s coming” so we spent most of the trip in a boiling hot van with zero airflow. I can’t believe my menopausal mother didn’t complain once, but she must have been drying. And finally, I’d like to mention that if you have a large group and end up with a minibus, whoever has to sit in the back row is going to have a wild ride. Every time we hit a bump, my boyfriend (5’ 10” - so not super tall or anything) hit his head on the ceiling and I was car sick by the time we stopped both directions. That’s getting kind of picky, cause at the time we were just trying to laugh it off, but looking back, all of these things together made the decision to book this 100% regrettable.

About the tickets, please consider if you buy by yourself you haven't any possibility to be refund for any cancellation and this is the reason why you pay a bit more instead the regular price. Otherwise feel you free to buy by yourself. About the A/C in the Van is unusually to know you aren't satisfied by the Van. This is a part of our fleet. All Mercedes Minivans. Yours, a 2019 van (with 2 years stop for pandemic) and it's strange to see some complane on that. Let me then please invite everyone to read several reviews on our tours, to have a more complete perspective on the quality that Bellaitaliatour delivers on them. Great day in Florence and Pisa with our wonderful guide. Definitely a 5 star experience! The van was immaculate and comfortable and our guide was highly knowledgeable about the entire area.
My 2 adult daughters and I enjoyed a wonderful day going to Pisa, Florence and the Accademia. Our private driver was really nice. He picked us up right on time at the dock in Livorno. He took us right up close to the Duomo and started us on our day. We met him again after lunch and he took us to the Accademia where he got us right in on time. No waiting in line. It was really wonderful to have such a great experience with a tour. That was our best day and best tour in the week.
This was the perfect choice for our family of 8 (parents with children 24, 24, 14, 12, 11 and 9). The vehicle was clean and plenty of room. The driver shared stories of the area and his Italian family along the way. We wanted to have flexibility with when we went from ship to Pisa to Florence and back, so this allowed us to go on our time table. The people helping me book answered by 100 questions (first trip to Europe for us), too. Wonderful experience and terrific driver and company.
