Au départ du cœur d'Union Square, l'autocar se dirige vers le Golden Gate Bridge. Sur le chemin du Golden Gate Bridge, les voyageurs verront: Union Square: théâtres, shopping, hôtels

Muir Woods se trouve au milieu de la région latitudinale du séquoia. L'incroyable diversité de la flore et de la faune peut parfois être décourageante, les séquoias, le geai de Stellar, les coccinelles, les anciennes fougères prêles et la limace bananière.

Prolongez votre séjour à Sausalito et revenez en ferry à San Francisco à votre guise. Le coût du ferry n'est pas inclus sauf si sélectionné lors de la réservation. Le ferry accoste au Pier 41, au cœur du Fisherman’s Wharf.
La partie transport en bus de la visite se terminera au Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf et votre aventure de croisière dans la baie commencera. Une fois que vous avez débarqué du bus, le chauffeur vous dirigera vers le débarcadère de The Bay Cruise Adventure où vous pourrez monter à bord du bateau (les heures de départ sont saisonnières). "Bay Cruise Adventure", vous amènera près de la tristement célèbre île de la prison (veuillez noter que cette visite n'atterrit PAS sur l'île d'Alcatraz et n'inclut pas l'intérieur de la prison), en route vers le pont du Golden Gate en le voyant sous tous les angles ainsi que le belle ligne d'horizon de la ville.

I found several tour options to Muir Woods Monument, but only Gray Line had the option not to purchase National Park tickets. We didn’t need them as we have a senior pass, saving us $30. We also could choose between a bus ride or ferry ride to return to San Francisco from Sausalito. They had 2 different pick up locations in SF for pick up too. Our guide, Don, was friendly and patient with the stragglers, not wanting to leave anyone behind. He shared some history during the drive, which he managed in a quick and safe manner. The park is a MUST SEE when in the area, especially if you have never visit such a forest. We were very pleased to find that most of the trails were made into a wooden boardwalk. We spent 90 minutes there, which was perfect.

We made the Muir Woods & Sausalito tour with the Gray Line San Francisco and it was a wonderful experience. We took the bus near Union Square in San Francisco in a very comfortable and well-organized vehicle. The tour begins early, which allows you to enjoy the day a lot. Before arriving at Muir Woods, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and made a photo stop with a simply stunning view of the bridge and the bay. It was one of those classic moments of San Francisco that stay in memory. At Muir Woods National Monument, we had free time to explore the forest calmly. Walking among the centuries-old giants redwoods is really impressive — the place is quiet, preserved and full of beautiful trails. Then we headed to Sausalito, a super charming coastal town just after the Golden Gate Bridge. We also had free time to walk along the shore, see the marina filled with boats, visit shops and enjoy the amazing views of San Francisco Bay. The tour was very well organized, with spectacular landscapes from beginning to end. Another positive point is that we returned to San Francisco right after lunch time, around 1:30 p.m., which still leaves the afternoon free to explore the city. I highly recommend the experience with the Gray Line San Francisco for those who want to know Muir Woods and Sausalito in a comfortable and worry-free way. An unforgettable walk!

The tour company grey line Was so understanding that our schedule was screwed up and we missed our tour They offered to reschedule for another day with no additional cost Then our driver was extremely informative and patient with everybody and gave us plenty of time to do what we wanted at each location. She gave us options. She explained everything to us so we knew exactly what to expect. I would highly recommend gray line tours to any body else that is considering a tour and this particular tour was absolutely wonderful.

Muir Woods was awesome and the connection to nature and the real experience amoung large trees is moving. Limousine service and tour guide was awesome too. Sausalito feels like an upper midwest/Great Lakes town, very friendly and walking access to the marinas was great too. Bay Cruise was very windy, bring a jacket with a hood even if it is warm outside, it will be 20 degrees cooler out in the bay. But lots of windows and seating inside the cruise boat, plus food and drinks if you are hungry. Though not part of the tour, the Cafe Encore was friendly and the food was good. The 1st stop of the limousine pickup was across the street from Cafe Encore, they open at 6am good egg and cheese sandwich and coffee, plus muffins and sweets to prep for the day.
