Michael was an amazing tour guide! We really loved the Muir Woods tour! So much information and great views. In addition, we accidentally left an item at a lunch place in Sausalito and I texted Michael the next day (his day off) and he helped coordinate another driver to pick it up and bring it over to SF after a tour. Peter (the other driver) even dropped it off at our hotel. We were so grateful. Absolutely 5 star for the tour itself and going above and beyond to help out these Midwest tourists! Thank you!
Great experience! The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable The van was comfortable and the driving was very good. Red Muir Woods was beautiful and the town of Sausalito was very pretty
Great tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of historic information about SF and as we went along on the tour. Tour is very well organized, great communications. I’ve done couple of similar tours through different tour companies - but this was the best. Highly recommend!
Jerry was a fantastic narrator! Fabulous time and very comfortable van. Beautiful views of Golden Gate Bridge. We stayed in Sausalito and took Ferry back.
Micheal was a great host and I appreciated that I could be picked up at my hotel. The drive wasn’t too long and Micheal had lots of details about the local history. The Muir Woods was amazing but a bit colder than I anticipated so I ended up having to buy a sweatshirt up at the gift shop. Bring a good jacket. The redwoods were absolutely breathtaking. Saulsalito was a gorgeous little harbor town. We only had an hour in Saulsalito so if I had to do it again I would forgo the tourist shops and sit down at a nice restaurant instead. I highly recommend this half day tour and would definitely do it again.
Great tour! Really enjoyed the drive to Muir Woods. Muir Woods was absolutely awesome. The tour gave just the right amount of time at this site. Really enjoyed Sausalito as well. Really appreciated being picked up at my hotel.
The scheduled trip did not start out well. The company failed to pick us up at the designated hotel. I called and was told they were on the way. After 15-20 minutes I called back and after some back and forth with the company and the actual tour guide/driver, we determined they were at the wrong pickup location. 35 minutes late, we were finally picked up. The tour van was packed, and my partner and I had to sit separately, which should not have happened as we were supposed to be the first pickup. All that being said, the trip to Muir Woods was great. What an awesome place to visit and walk through. Our guide was informative and gave a lot of interesting history. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but not a great beginning to the day or our trip to San Francisco.
This tour was wonderful. Michael our guide was very informative and funny. Muir Woods was incredible, if I could bottle the smells and sounds I would. I could so forest bath in these woods.
Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful. Walking among the redwoods early in the morning was magical. I highly recommend taking one of the early morning tours to Muir Woods. If you want to experience the woods in relative quiet and really take in the atmosphere without constant chatter, going early makes a big difference. The tour itself was very well organized. Our guide made a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge and kept the group engaged throughout the drive with stories and commentary. He had a good sense for the group dynamic and managed to keep everyone entertained. Since we had extra time, he also added an additional stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, which was a nice bonus. On the way back, we stopped in Sausalito and had the option to either return with the tour or take the ferry back ourselves, which I’d also recommend if the weather is nice. Overall, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable way to see Muir Woods and the surrounding area.
Informative tour guide mostly about his tip, dont forget his tip, did you see his tip sign and telling us we should tip him. We couldn't take it any more and opted to get off and take the ferry which added to our overall cost.
