Very fun. Funny and good value for price. It was very clear and learned alot. We went in the morning from 8:30 to 14:00 got picked up a little late, but he had to go to temple with his mother so that's why. 13:20 he drove back to our hotel. Since nobody else booked it was private so that was very nice. Evening hr said he had 20 people so morning seems to be less busy. I recommend if you do especially morning you skimp a little on thr breakfast, we eat alot of breakfast from hotel and didn't manege to eat it all up since stomach full. We first went to market and he explained some stuff snd then he said we can walk around I will buy ingredients see you at van in 15 minutes. Cooking was partly outdoor, so not indoors but with a roof. We also gathered some vegetables from the garden next to the kitchen. Also next to kitchen was a pond, where we could throw in some food he bought for the fish. We cooked 6 meals, he did it first and then we did it ourselves with him helping. Was very fun and tasteful. Would definitely recommend for anyone, I did it with family but anything else should be fun too. If a child is too young you can just let them see and help but not cook themselves. We did it with 10 year old daughter and she managed very good. The chef also made slot of good pictures of us and he was very funny. He also let my son (14) make a high flame in the pan, which he found very fun. There is free water coffee and tee and paid soda or beer and some other stuff, not expensive.
Perm was a really funny chef with really great energy! The food was delicious and big portions. Harvesting from the garden was wonderful.
So much fun and food was fantastic!! You start with a market tour and then go back to pick vegetables and cook 6 courses
Really beautiful location and the dishes were really fun to cook!
The cooking class was amazing, the chef Perpoone is a true expert and you can tell how passionate he is about teaching. The food we cook is amazing, best pad Thai and cashew chicken ever. They take you to the market and the cooking class takes place in their own organic farm where they give you a little tour to teach you how to collect herbs. 10/10 experience, fun energy, you eat a lot and you can take the leftovers, i definitely recommend it
I can’t recommed this enough! It was a really local experience. Perpoon took us first to the market and explain every fruit and vegetable that we were goin to use. Then we arrive to a farm where he showed us all the growing vegan they use to cook. And after that we started cooking a lot of different dishes like 6 in total. He is a very good teacher with good jokes and very friendly. We were only 7 people so that made it relax and quiet too.
Wow,... you can't get a nicer souvenir. Learn to make delicious dishes, very nice location and top cookmaster!
Very interesting experience! I learned a lot about Thai cuisine and the chefs explained things very well, I highly recommend it to discover Thai flavors!!
This was quite the experience. We first went to their people’s market. Then to the school. We picked our herbs from their organic garden. We were given a lesson in Thai cookings & did our own cooking with the best cooking coach. It was a lot fun.
Superb experience at this small farm not far from Chiang Mai, the owner and teacher is really great, funny, and friendly. I can only recommend it if you are in the area.
