Partez le matin directement de votre hôtel et rejoignez en moins de 2 heures la ville typique de Montepulciano. Construit en 1500 sur une étroite crête de calcaire, connu dans le monde entier pour ses imposants palais de la Renaissance, pour la beauté élégante de ses églises et surtout pour le Vino Nobile, l'un des vins les plus appréciés de la Toscane dans le monde. Temps libre pour les visites.
En fin de matinée, à travers de magnifiques paysages, rejoignez une autre perle de la région du Val d’Orcia: l’ancienne Pienza. C’est l’une des plus belles villes toscanes, exemple rare d’architecture de la Renaissance achevée. Longtemps considérée comme la ‘ville idéale’ et le berceau du pape Pie II, elle représente aujourd’hui l’un des moyens pratiques par lesquels les hommes, pendant la Renaissance, ont tenté de créer un modèle idéal de vie et de gouvernement sur la terre. Temps libre pour le déjeuner et les visites.
En début d’après-midi, nous continuerons d’atteindre la dernière ville de la journée: Montalcino, célèbre dans le monde entier, en particulier pour l’origine de l’un des meilleurs vins du monde: le Brunello di Montalcino. Perché sur une colline sur laquelle s'élève encore aujourd'hui la puissante forteresse du XIVe siècle. Temps libre pour les visites et (pourquoi pas?) Pour un verre du célèbre vin Brunello!. Retournez à votre hébergement en fin d’après-midi, le ventre plein, un cœur heureux et de beaux souvenirs…

Alex was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to converse with. Overall it was a great day and one we will always remember. Highly recommend.
This was a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture of medieval Tuscan towns. We enjoyed the architecture and history of the 16th century buildings while also viewing the foundations underneath dating back to 500BC. We learned about the wine-making process and sampled many local wines. The views of the countryside were spectacular as were the views from these elevated small villages.

Massimo was a great guide. He arrived on time, all 7 of us were seated comfortable. The van was really clean. Safe driver and gave us lots of time at each stop. Let us be the leaders of the time. Would definitely repeat and recommend. He was a lot of fun!

Highly recommend Tuscany in Tour. We booked 5 day excursions from Florence. Our drivers, Mossimo & Alesandro were wonderful. They both provided a wealth of information,recommendations & were very accommodating. We preferred a private driver over a regimented tour group that offers minimal flexibilitiy & very little opportunity to explore on your own. If we finished early or wanted a few extra minutes they remained close by so we could just text them. Had we used a regimented tour group, we would have missed out on an immersive, slow travel experience.

Sonny is a good man, knowledgeable and we enjoyed him very much. All you could ask for in a driver. The only negative; this trip is a full day and you really need more time in Pienza and Montepulciano. I'd leave off Montalcino!

The main purpose of this tour is to show the highlights of these three marvelous hilltowns...of course every customer has their favorite town. For wine lovers Montalcino is really a must as this is the place where is produced the famous Brunello wine!... By the way I recommend next time you come to Tuscany to spend at least a couple of days in this area, please feel free to write me for any kind of recommendation or suggestion about where to stay!... What a wonderful excursion. Just magical. Our driver/guide Massimo was the best. He works for Tuscany in Tour. His van was so comfortable. He was a great driver and a wonderful guide. Very personable. Just a beautiful guy. He made the whole experience very special. Montalcino and the wine tasting was superb. Little snacks were fresh and delicious. The Brunello was spectacular. Pienza was a marvelous little town. Montepulciano was bigger but still enjoyable. This was a highlight experience of our entire week in Tuscany.
