Minneapolis est une ville profondément engagée dans les arts, avec un ensemble de valeurs fondamentales qui célèbre la créativité, la diversité et la communauté. Cette visite à pied au cœur de Minneapolis est un mélange parfait entre les arts et la vie urbaine. Nous marcherons tout au long du Nicollet Mall, une vitrine d'art public qui transforme le cœur du centre-ville en galerie à ciel ouvert. Ce couloir d’un kilomètre de long présente une gamme variée de sculptures et d’installations qui reflètent la culture et l’histoire de la ville. Nous rencontrerons un mélange de bâtiments remarquables à la fois historiques et modernes, tous contribuant au caractère unique du centre-ville. La voie verte de Loring nous mènera au parc Loring où résident des pièces d'eau vibrantes, des pavillons et des sculptures en bronze, abstraites et fantaisistes. Ensuite, rendez-vous au jardin de sculptures de Minneapolis, qui jouxte le Walker Art Center et présente plus de 40 sculptures sur 11 acres ! L'inspiration est partout !

Cette oasis piétonne longue d'un kilomètre est bordée de bars et de restaurants débordant sur les trottoirs, d'œuvres d'art, d'une verdure abondante et de nombreuses options de shopping. Arrêtez-vous et discutez avec l'emblématique Mary Tyler Moore! Nous apercevrons également quelques peintures murales bien connues en cours de route.

Le Jardin des sculptures du Walker Art Center est apprécié de tous nos citadins. C'est l'endroit que nous voulons tous montrer à nos visiteurs. C'est l'un des plus grands jardins de sculptures du pays avec 40 installations artistiques permanentes et plusieurs autres pièces temporaires.

Jessica was a really great guide to introduce us to Minneapolis. A well paced walking tour through the riverfront and downtown areas. Used the light rail to visit more of the city without adding to the time spent just walking. We have been on many walking tours and this was one of the best. If you want an excellent way to start a Minneapolis visit try this tour.

It was a great tour - friendly, informative, and it made us fall in love with a new city! We covered a good amount of ground and the tour guide was flexible when we wanted to stop or take a quick detour. Highly recommend!

Wonderful!!! Of course I would! We went to St Anthony Falls, Al Guthrie Theater which has a spectacular view! And of course to Prince's wall! I miss time to see more! And thank God with excellent weather! Calorcito 😁

Jessica gave me a very good one on one private tour at Minneapolis. She point out that Minnesota is leading states in wild rice producing.
