Great experience with our guide Collin. We learned a great deal about Minneapolis and would recommend the tour to locals and visitors alike!
Collin was very kind and very knowledgeable. He was personable and thoroughly explained many details along the way. There was plenty to see and Collin covered it all. The coffee shop stop was a pleasant surprise. I would greatly recommend this tour. Collin also offered recommendations for food, etc.
Colin is a local and really knew the downtown and skywalks. Loved all the Prince information. I would definitely recommend this tour.
The tour was very interesting and definitely touched on both the past and present. Dan was very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Our guide (Collin) was personable and knowledgeable! He provided interesting info on the history of Minneapolis and pointed out historic sites giving us background info as well as architectural significance.
I had such a great experience with Colin as my guide! He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour really enjoyable. I felt like I got an amazing feel for the city and was able to see so much in a short amount of time. I booked the tour the night before because my fiancé had a last-minute business trip, and even though I ended up being the only person on the tour, Colin made it so fun and engaging. It felt like such a personalized experience, and I’m so glad I did it. Highly recommend!
When my wife and I travel to a new city we like to go on walking tours to get a better understanding of the history and key aspects of the city. This one ranked right up there with the best. Colin was enthusiastic throughout the tour providing great insights about the Stone Bridge, the flour mills, Guthrie Theater, Foshay tower, First Avenue concert venue and life in Minneapolis. A coffee stop at Dunn Brothers was a nice stop to warm up a bit before heading back out.
We took this tour with Collin and it was awesome! He has a true passion for his city and a deep knowledge of its history belong with knowing what's changing and continues to change. We were fortunate to just be 2 of us on the tour so he was able to share a lot of info from all or our questions, he has a great speaking voice too. We started by the river and about halfway hit a cool coffee shop which was great as it was a little bit chilly for that first part since we were outside but then we were in the skyway system the rest of the tour. We walked a lot which we LOVED and the skyward system is AMAZING. DEFINITELY recommend taking one of their tours thru the skywsy because its huge! If we had more time, we would have taken their bar and food tour as he pointed out several of those spots and they looked good. Highly recommend this tour, really enjoyed it!!
Our tour guide Collin was friendly and verify informative. Lots of walking but doable. We did the tour with our 10 and 11 year-olds and they seemed to enjoy it as much as we did.
Collin was amazing! This is the first time I’ve ever had a tour for one. I so appreciate that he didn’t cancel. I learned a lot about the mill history, and I appreciated Collin’s attention to architectural detail. This was a really fun experience. 1:1 attention was not something I expected, but it was something I definitely enjoyed for conversation flow and questions. Thank you, again! I can highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn more about Minneapolis. Also, if you’re worried about cold, much occurred in the Skyways. I’m not sure if that is just for winter, but we didn’t miss anything.
