Il s'agira d'une visite en minivan en petit groupe, maximum 8 participants sur une visite. Chaque invité est pris en charge personnellement; flexibilité de la visite sur demande (si tous les participants montrent le même intérêt).

"Or blanc" - Un voyage amusant et passionnant dans l'histoire. Cette visite vous emmène dans l'une des plus anciennes mines de sel du monde accessible aux visiteurs de la montagne Dürrnberg. L'« or blanc » qui y est extrait a joué un rôle crucial dans l'histoire de Salzbourg et bien au-delà. En enfilant des vêtements de mineur traditionnels, en utilisant un petit train de mineur et en glissant sur des toboggans en bois poli, vous descendrez niveau par niveau et n'entrerez pas seulement dans les mystères d'un monde loin à l'intérieur de la montagne. Vous voyagerez également dans le temps pendant des siècles. Un mineur vous guidera en expliquant de manière vivante l'histoire et en racontant des histoires légendaires passionnantes comme celle de "l'homme dans le sel". Un point culminant sera le voyage en radeau à travers le lac salé souterrain. Avec plaisir et enthousiasme, vous découvrirez l'histoire de "l'or blanc" caché depuis des millions d'années.
Sur un bateau électrique, vous laisserez derrière vous la vie quotidienne bruyante et trépidante et profiterez du lac le plus profond et le plus propre d'Allemagne, le joyau des Alpes bavaroises. Ce lac vert émeraude aux allures de fjord est dominé par les parois rocheuses escarpées de la montagne Watzmann jusqu'à 1800 m et a une profondeur allant jusqu'à 190 m. Sur une petite péninsule romantique se trouve l'emblème du lac King, l'ancienne chapelle des Augustins Saint-Barthélemy. L'écho fascinant du lac du Roi. (Pendant l'hiver à partir du 06.11.2022 au 01.04.23 promenade en bateau pas possible, donc passer du temps au lac et à la ville de Berchtesgaden sera possible)
Sur le chemin du retour vers Salzbourg, nous traverserons la charmante petite ville de Berchtesgaden, si le temps le permet, une éventuelle visite du palais royal et de l'abbaye.

TRÈS IMPORTANT: Le client doit être prêt pour le ramassage 15 minutes.(08:30am) avant/avant le début de la tournée car il / elle peut être déjà le 1er à être pris en charge. Un maximum de 5 minutes d'attente sera possible, au-delà attendre à regret n'est pas possible. Note: Sur demande, d'autres lieux de ramassage, à savoir la gare principale de Salzbourg / sortie Schallmoos, le bureau Edelweiss Tours, Theatergasse 1, 5020 Salzbourg, seront possibles.

The tour is really well organized. My guide Shiva is really professional. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of suggestions. The King’s Lake is really peaceful and I think it’s the highlight of the tour!

Highly recommend Edelweiss tours!! We did 2 private full-day tours with them, 2 days in a row from Salzburg. Long story short, my itinerary was changed to the Salt mine and visit to the Giant Ice Cave instead. One has to travel by Funicular up to the summit, a walk of xx metres before reaching the salt mine. Beside the introduction, history and methods of exploiting the mines, the slides from level to level and the carriage ride are something to look forward to. I have been to the Salt Mine in Poland and the latter is much more spectacular and interesting compared to this one in Durrnberg. If you have never been to one and nothing for you to compare, it is fine. The Giant Ice Cave is truly awesome, really amazing and phenomenal, simply incredible. One has to travel by cable car/furnicular up to the mountain. There is a considerably walk from the station to the cave, mostly uphill, really a test of your stamina. I am glad to have visited this unique ice treasure deep in the cave (arranged by the tour operator), unbelievably stunning and admire the power of nature. If you are doing a day tour from Salzburg, the Giant Ice Cave is not to be missed, highly recommeded !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the tour operator for suggesting the change !!!!! Francis Ong
