Great adventure. The area is beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable making it a fun experience. I recommend this event.
Mark was awesome. My kids and I had a lot of fun. Totally worth the experience.
It was a great time! Our guide, Connor was friendly and experienced. I would recommend it for first time kayaking because the current helped push you along.
We had a great kayak trip through the beautiful mangrove tunnels and clear waters of Key Largo. The surroundings are very beautiful and quiet, so you can really enjoy the special nature. During the trip we saw several fish, jellyfish and as a highlight even a manatee. That made the experience extra special. Our guide Fitz did a very nice job. He talked enthusiastically about the surroundings and created a relaxed and cozy atmosphere throughout the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed and can highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the Florida Keys nature from the water.
Superb time out on the canoes. Our guide, Fitz, was a real pleasure and full of local knowledge. Nothing was rushed and the experience out in the mangroves was certainly something to remember. A highly recommended way to pass a few hours at a great price!!
It was a bit disappointing. We didn't really see any cool animals -- just tiny crab and tiny jellyfish.
This was a peaceful, educational experience with a local guide. He was an engaging thoughtful person who took pix for our family and shared them with us. He gave us local recommendations for food joints and must-see spots.
It was a very fun relaxing experience. The staff at the store were friendly and helpful. From the store you drive to John Pennecamp State Park, the fee to get in is part of your tour so you can stay and explore after the tour. Our guide Connor did a wonderful job. He was informative and helpful and took pictures for us which he shared with us. You don't really need your phone. It was just what we wanted for a kayak experience. We kayak at a lake back home and weren't sure if we needed a tour but it was perfect. You do get in the water at one point to swim. Make sure the pockets in your suit are empty. Also he provides water so you just need a bottle for refills. Highly recommend
For active travellers staying with us at Kawama Tower 406, we highly recommend Florida Bay Outfitters for premium backcountry exploration. They provide fully safety-inspected, compliant kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rentals with convenient drop-off options right to the Kawama Yacht Club. Launching from their pristine site next to the Caribbean Club gives you immediate access to spectacular mangrove-canopied channels like Dusenbury Creek. It offers an incredible 75% chance of spotting wild wintering manatees, bottlenose dolphins, and rare migratory birds at close quarters in a safe, fully insured manner.
We had a great experience! Mark was the best guide! The mangroves are awesome! Would 100% do it again!
