We have never snorkled before and we were excited to go out. Apparently there was a tropical storm kicking up and the water was extremely rough. They did not say anything before going out. The boat ride was very rough and when we got to the reef waves were so high we couldn't even snorkle. None of us actually saw anything. I vame back to thw boat within 5 minutes. I will probably never get the chance to do it again and rhis was terrible. Very unprofessional to take new snorklers in weather like this. The whole time they made a joke out of how "sporty the water is today" an expensive waste of money. Also, they say life jackets provided you literally get a pool noodle out on the ocean. Find another place do not use them

Great crew. Very informative …boat was not comfortable for seating and it was very loud. The trip is 3 1/2 hours one hour of snorkeling 2 1/2 hour boat ride. It was beautiful, loud crowded and beautiful.
Captain Joe and first mate ivy were very informative and helpful, it was a smooth 30 minute ride to the reef, all gear besides the snorkel is provided, we arrived at the booth to fill out paper work around 8:15 the boat left at 9am sharp at the scheduled time. For $75 one of the best snorkeling experiences you can get in key largo.
On July 8, 2026 I went on the 3pm tour. Check in was easy, the views were immaculate, the reef was flourishing with life and our crew on the sundiver III, capt Joe and mate Ivy were as good as it gets. I felt safe the whole time, and the way capt Joe and Ivy both made sure the group was aware of the fknms rules and the importance of being a cautious and well informed snorkeler made me feel like I made confident that i chose to snorkel with this local vendor. To those who want to see the reef for themselves, please be mindful of your fins when snorkeling in shallow areas, you’re longer than normal when you wear them, and be sure to wear zinc oxide based reef safe sunscreen. No sprays and no other active ingredients !
Bro scheduling at the place was ez and chill everyone made sense AND SHOUT OUT OUR TOUR GUIDE IVY she was goated uhhh funny story I didn’t get the fins at first (don’t ask I was stubborn) then I came back 2 the boat bc I was getting tired n needed rest and ivy kinda got mad at me bc I didn’t eat breakfast but oh well ANYWAY she helped with my gear and seeing all the fish and coral was sooooo fun and relaxing Only main complaint is the captain, Joel, didn’t sound the horn 3 times (the signal that it was time 2 come back) and I looked up from the water 2 see EVERYONE GONE. I was only a lil scared and made my way back 2 the boat. Everyone else was alr there bc they got tired lol TLDR THIS WAS AWESOME AND FUN SHOUTOUT IVY DEF WORTH BOOKING CUZ GEAR IS INCLUDED 🩷🩷🩷
The crew made the experience amazing! Ivy’s bubbly personality and passion for the reef is contagious and clear. We saw so much and will definitely be going out with them again
Fantastic last minute snorkeling excursion! A+ Captain and 1st Mate, John and Carolyn. Great first snorkeling experience, despite my husband getting extremely sea sick (crew was very helpful and sweet); Saw hundreds of fish, stingrays, spotted rays, barracuda, and colorful coral.
There is a slight up sale at the sign in, they tell you that you have to buy new individual snorkels but they have plenty of sanitized ones on the boat. Tour listed as 3 hours, ours was closer to 2:30 with only an hour at the reef to snorkel.
Hello, Thanks for the review. Just to clarify we have all the trip details listed on the website and in multiple areas we say all gear is included except for the snorkel tube. We then say you are welcome to bring your own or we sell them for $15. This is all clearly stated on the website before purchasing your ticket. Also we never say the tour is 3 hours long, in fact we specifically mention the tour is 2.5 hours long with a little over an hour of snorkel time. It was a great experience! We had Captain Joe and Brandon as our tour guides. They were absolutely phenomenal! The ride there was peaceful and enjoyable as well as the ride back. They explained safety tips and other helpful information very well and left us with no questions. The customer service throughout the whole experience was the best we’ve seen while being in the Keys. I did get sick and had to throw up but Brandon was able to help me out and I eventually started feeling better. Just extremely grateful for this experience.
