Circuit en petit groupe au Loch Ness, Glencoe et Highlands au départ d'Édimbourg

Description

Douglas Morgan, the tour guide loves Scotland. He is a very responsible driver and mixes up the tour with history, culture, music and laughter. It is a long 480 mile tour all day, but planned photo stops and bathroom stops. 16 people max, well worth a few extra dollars or pounds. Excellent experience. You really get to see the highlands.
Good day trip away from the city! Ron was quite nice and knowledgeable. It’s a lot of sitting in a bus so be ready for that otherwise super enjoyable!

This is the ideal day out if you’re in Edinburgh for a short visit and still want to experience the beauty and majesty of the Highlands. Kyle, our driver-guide, was a delight: funny, knowledgeable, passionate and attentive, it was a pleasure listening to him with his lovely and proudly Scottish accent throughout the drive. He even gave me some great music recommendations after I asked about the artists he was playing for us, and tips for our next Scottish holiday! The tour is relaxing and comprehensive, the mini-coaches help create an intimate and friendly atmosphere and the sights are amazing, even on a rainy day like the one we had (dare I say that the moody weather makes some of these places even more magical?). Tìoraidh an-dràsta, Kyle and Discover Scotland Tours!

Our kilted driver/guide, Ron, was very informative. He had a vast knowledge of Scottish history, keeping us entertained as we traveled. He easily adapted to a necessary route change caused by a road closure. This tour includes a lot of miles in a very nice small bus but I would recommend it to most travelers.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your tour with Ron, and we will make sure to pass on your kind words. We hope to welcome you back on board one of our tours soon! - Discover Scotland Tours
Cale was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable throughout the tour & loved how he mingled history, geology, music & laughtertogether. His tour was well balanced with sharing information & then having music playing for time to just sit back & relax.

Th highlands are absolutely stunning. Sadly we chose the wrong tour operator or got unlucky with our guide Kyle. Everything felt extremely rushed. Even then we were not shown the highlands cows which we were told by the guide we would be. In the middle he said looks like we will be back in Edinburgh by 8:30PM. Means he was ready to reach that late. Afterwards we ended up Reaching at 8PM. So we could have added that stop. Whoever we have spoken to dat did this tour got to see highlands cows from up close. It would have been a real highlight. At Fort Augustus Kyle, told us to be back by 3:15. I got back at 3:11 and wanted to go to the washroom cause I had time. But he said we need to leave. In the bus I pointed out that I still had 4 minutes. He said everyone was ready to leave and shouldn’t have to wait cause ‘I wanted more photos.’ Found this highly disrespectful. Firstly I’ve paid a fair sum for the tour. Have every right to take as many photos as I want. Secondly if everyone else chooses to be done before the scheduled time that is not my fault and is not me being late. His knowledge and history was impressive but it a was all a monologue. Did nothing to make the tour interactive. He got have asked more questions and made it conversational. It was just him droning on alone. Lastly he kept criticising everyone else’s driving. Well I didn’t find his driving too safe. There were a fair few avoidable breaks and jerks. Overall we wish we had someone who could have done more justice to the beautiful places the tour covers.
We are sorry to hear your tour experience wasn't as we would have hoped. Your Tour Leader Kyle is an experienced driver-guide who regularly receives positive feedback regarding his commentary and relationship with his customers, which includes others that were on tour with you. However, we understand that everyone on tour has their own unique experience and we're disappointed to hear yours wasn't as expected. We will investigate this further and speak to your Tour Leader regarding this matter.
