Plongez à pieds joints dans les sixties et prenez place dans mon van Volkswagen T2 de 1970 refait à neuf pour une expérience unique. A la fois stylé et "baba cool", il apporte originalité et fun à votre escapade. Je vous fais découvrir les alentours de Lisbonne, des lieux magnifiques, authentiques et encore préservés qui sont difficiles d'accès lorsque vous n'êtes pas véhiculés. Que vous soyez amateurs de voitures de collection, nostalgiques des années 60-70 ou juste curieux de découvrir ce van mythique alors je vous assure un moment de convivialité et de belles découvertes. Des itinéraires sont prévus à la journée pour se balader le long des côtes de Cascais ou Sintra. D'autres itinéraires, vous mèneront jusqu'à la Serra d'Arrabida ou encore Setubal. Entre amis ou en famille de 5 personnes maximum (privatif), Installez vous confortablement dans mon combi VW et laisser vous conduire afin de profiter pleinement de cette merveilleuse destination.

2h de temps libre prévu à Cascais . Ancienne ville de pêcheur, elle a été transformé par la noblesse portugaise en un lieu de villégiature estivale avec ses somptueuses villas et ses lieux extravagants. Cascais est une petite ville très charmante où l'on peut profiter des jolies plages, des parcs et des petites ruelles animées.
La Casa da Guia est actuellement une référence dans la commune de Cascais et est devenue un réel point de rencontre en famille ou entre amis, grâce à un concept unique et différent de commerce, culture et loisir. À la sortie de Cascais, sur la route de Guincho, Casa da Guia est située dans une maison de maître du XIXe siècle, totalement réhabilitée par l’architecte Cláudio Wanderley, entourée de deux hectares de jardins juchés sur la falaise, s’étendant jusqu’au Phare de Guia et dominant l’immensité de l’Océan Atlantique. À l’intérieur, on découvre un concept commercial innovateur avec des boutiques diverses et une galerie d’art. À l’extérieur, on apprécie une excellente zone de restauration, commerce, culture et loisir, où les restaurants, les terrasses et un amphithéâtre sont des belvédères parfaits pour profiter d’une magnifique vue sur la mer.
Cabo da Roca est un cap sauvage qui se trouve au point le plus à l'Ouest de l'Europe continentale. Ce lieu constitué de falaises martelées par les vents et de terres arides était autrefois( jusqu'au XIVe siècle) considéré comme le bout du monde. C'est l'endroit idéal pour les personnes qui apprécient la nature, avec d'un côté l'entendue d'eau qui semble infinie et de l'autre les montagne du parc naturel de Sintra- Cascais.
Cette "bouche de l'enfer" est un gouffre qui émerveille et terrifie les visiteurs depuis les temps les plus reculés. L'océan, a force d'allers et venues souvent violents, a creusé la roche, formant une "mâchoire de pierre" dans laquelle bouillonne une soupe infernale.
Magnifique plage située dans le paysage spectaculaire des collines de la Serra de Sintra. Toujours exposée aux vents puissants, elle est célèbre pour ses vagues immenses , été comme hiver. Elle est par conséquent le paradis des surfeurs expérimentés. A l'extrémité sud de la plage se trouve le fort, peint en jaune, de Fortaleza do Guincho, qui à été transformé en hôtel 5* avec sa piscine extérieure construite autour d'un ancien fort.
Le trajet retour par le littoral dure environ 1h30

This was the best part of our trip to Portugal. This day didn’t feel like you were on a tour. It was more like riding around with family and friends, singing great music and catching all the cool sights along the way. Also, we had the best meal of our entire trip for lunch at Azenhas do Mar. What a wonderful experience we had with this tour and although we did not get a chance to visit Sintra and the other Castles because of unforeseen circumstances, we did get a chance to go other sites that we would otherwise not have been able to. My hats off to Christiano for this unforgettable trip to the coastline and the city of Cascais, he took his time to explain in detail all the places we visited. He also recommended local restaurants for us while in Lisbon and his wife Laura kept in touch with me even before we got here to make sure everything was fine. Fun day with lovely and knowledgeable guide and driver. The VW bus is super cool! When we moved quickly through regular stops being fast-paced New Yorkers they offered to add another location to visit.

Cristiano was an amazing guide for the day! He was on time, very polite and a friend to talk with and ask questions all day. He provided the schedule for the day and asked if we wanted any modifications. This is the perfect tour to visit the coastal towns and sites near Lisbon. At each stop he provided us with history about the stop and allowed time to explore, take pictures and enjoy each experience. Our lunch stop came with an amazing ocean view and the food was outstanding (order the grilled octopus). Make sure you ask him about the history of the van as it has a very fascinating story. He loves what he is doing, is very knowledgeable about Portugal and you will not be disappointed in your experience. We highly recommend this tour as we feel like we have a new friend in Portugal.

Everything was perfect from the pick up to the drop off. Laura and Christian were AMAZING. Super knowledgable, friendly and we enjoyed their fabulous VW van. We were picked up on time at the hotel in this fully restored bus and drove comfortably along small roads to Sintra. Our two supervisors told us a lot about the city and Sintra. From Sintra we went to the coast to a fantastic fish restaurant with a great view. Then along the coast to the westernmost point of Europe, then to a hellish gorge and finally back to Lisbon via the coastal road. The trip in the old bus is great fun, people often speak to you and wave at you. We can only recommend the trip!
