It was a great day out very comfortable transport. Loved the mafia museum. Our wonderful guide Umberto made it special he is friendly and knowledgeable he has a very pleasant personality and we felt really comfortable with him. Thanks Umberto from William Anne and Caiden from Scotland
Incredibly good everything. The guide was superb.
This was a great experience all-round. Umberto our guide was very knowledgeable about both the Mafia but also gave us a rich insight into the history of Sicily itself over the course of the journey. Even accounting for unpredictable Palermo traffic, the day was well-structured with appropriate length of time spent at each attraction. Would highly recommend!
Umberto was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the mafia. However, the tour of the mafia museum (which we had to pay for) was very disappointing. The house itself lacked any real historical significance, the mafia connection is evident, but not worth the price. The guide had many personal opinions on current world affairs and was freely sharing them. A bright spot of the day was the beautiful drive through the countryside. Overall, the price of the tour, paying for the lunch during the outing and entry to the museum, this is a very expensive day that I’d think twice before booking.
Hello, the tour is about the origins of the Mafia, as the title suggests. Food and tickets are never included, as described. You had an exclusive tour just for you, a luxury van and a driver-guide for a day that took you to the heart of Sicily, not just around the corner. In Italy, we pay about 43% in taxes, plus the agency's commission, plus fuel insuracnce and van. However, there were cheaper options for shared, self-guided tours. I'm sorry you didn't understand what you booked; it's not our fault.
Umberto was both a pleasure and extremely knowledgeable about both the history and the current state of affairs. He made this a memorable day for us, it was incredible.
This was an excellent tour to Corleone and to the Monreale Duomo. Our driver, Umberto, was very knowledgeable. It was like having a family member showing us the area and explaining the history.
Spent a wonderful day with Umberto seeing the Sicilian countryside, visiting Corleone and Monreale. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its rich history. Definitely recommend!
I'm from Australia, and was looking to book a trip to Sicily with my sister who lives in Oxfordshire. We flew into Sicily from the UK with only 2 full days to explore. I found Umberto on Viator and booked a trip on our second day. Wow, was it worth it. Umberto picked us up from the airport and took us back. During those drives, he was full of knowledge of the history of Palermo and Sicily. We were hooked. On day out with him, he took us to Corleone and a great experience at the Mafia Museum. We felt we experienced the beginnings of how the mafia formed in Corleone. Going on from there we visited Monreale, and the wonderful cathedral. How did they build something so big in such a small town!! We loved Umberto's knowledge and his kind and patient way of handling us. We highly recommend him to anyone
This was an outstanding tour of Corleone. Don’t miss this if you are in the area. Cristian was a wonderful tour guide. I learned alot about the history of the town as well as the great tour of the museum which explained the origins of organized crime in detail. The town of Monreale is beautiful and scenic as well. Highly recommend!
Tour guide very informative about mafia origins all the way up until today. Michael Angelo’s house and museum was also very interesting and informative. Great tour for any Godfather fan.
