The guide was incredible: warm, caring, and made me feel like I was riding with an old friend. The e-bike tour was a thrilling way for me to explore Mexico City — We zipped through vibrant neighborhoods, cruised past Chapultepec Park, caught a glimpse of the Angel of Independence, and wrapped up in the artsy charm of Roma. One heads-up: this tour isn’t for beginner cyclists or the faint of heart. You’ll be weaving through real city traffic, which is part of the adrenaline-filled adventure. Also, note that this is not a traditional foodie tour — We had a quick but tasty stop for three vegan tacos and one classic taco in Roma, which definitely hit the spot. I was hoping to visit the market, but unfortunately, it wasn’t included. All in all, a cool and unforgettable experience. I can officially say I rode (and survived!) the wild streets of Mexico City.
The walk was wonderful! Incredible to know part of the city guided by Luis, who knows the history and curiosities! We rode for many hours and I felt safe all the time. Food was delicious!
We had three siblings and three spouses on this eBike tour. Six people single file following the leader in the streets of Mexico City is quite a passel! Luis was very effective and professional in informing us how to keep safe and have fun. So my first comment in this review is that Luis is a very experienced CDMX biker. He definitely knew the streets and how to coach a group of novices through. Five stars! On the tour content I have to say that the title of the tour did really capture the gist of the tour. “Foodie Lovers and Trendy CDMX E-bike Tour” made me think it was more “food oriented”. In reality, we only had tacos and beer at the end of the tour. Ironically, we much preferred what we actually GOT to what we THOUGHT we were getting! We were very happy that the tour was centered more on the incredibly rich history of Mexico and CDMX itself rather than its food scene. Luis took us to many sites in Chapultepec Park, the historic district, and many points between. Five stars! As a personality, Luis was very engaging and fun. He instilled confidence by his skills but always kept the focus on an enjoyable tour, not just a safe bike ride. Before the tour started we met his partner briefly who also seemed very professional and fun. Since we arrived early we had a bit of time to chat with him while Luis prepared the bikes. From what I saw of him I feel certain he’d be a great guide. Five stars! The bikes were fine and by that I mean they all ran well the entire tour, stopped well, had good acceleration and all that. I’m sure Luis would do an amazing Foodie Lover tour. The street tacos we had at the end of the tour were some of the best we had on our whole CDMX trip! So if you want a Foodie tour, let him know, otherwise you may learn a ton about Mexico and have an amazing outing. Five stars!
There were only two of us on this tour but it was a great experience. You will get to see a lot of Mexico City in a relatively short period. If you don't have much time and want to see Mexico City, this tour is a great way to do so. The e-bikes are easy to use and with the electric assist, it isn't strenuous at all. The tacos were good and came in right at the perfect time after finishing about 95 percent of the biking. *The tour office is right next to Laila Hotel
For lovers of Italian cuisine, this small dealer named Il Fiorino, in the Roma colony (CDMX) on the street of Medellin on the side of the market; offers fresh pasta with traditional Tuscan recipes. A true delight and an excellent Italian wine list!
Ismael is the absolute best. I had a wonderful time biking almost 12 miles with him on these e-bikes. We saw wonderful sights, he knows all the history and has pictures and info to complement the places we visited, he took me to the best locals taco spot, it was exactly what I wanted. The city is huge and to see it on a bike is the best way. I highly recommend this, it was an incredible experience with a wonderful person. The meeting spot for my trip was at a hotel right by the St Regis very conveniently located and the street had tons of cute restaurants and bars FYI and was very close to the park.
Fun and interesting architectural tour of CDMX. Very nice tour guide. Should not be called “Foodie Lovers…” as the only food is mediocre tacos and soda at the very end. E-bike accelerator on our bike was missing a button.
This is a fantastic tour! Ismael, our guide, is warm and friendly and made sure we felt safe whilst seeing the sights even as less confident cyclists. He is very well informed about the history of Mexico City and could answer all of our questions with aplomb! We would recommend this tour to any and all visitors to Mexico City; Ismael was able to add such interesting context to the historical monuments. At the end of the tour we visited a local taco joint where the food and drinks were delicioso! The guava juice is a must. It is well worth seeking out, you won't be disappointed!
Awesome tour around the city, we got to see different areas that we didn’t know existed…. very easy to ride the e-bikes. Highly recommended!
Ismael is such a sweet guide! He is kind & genuine, and knowledgeable about CDMX and it’s history! We felt very safe riding bikes with him, he took great care of us.
