Le meilleur du parc national du Mont Rainier depuis Seattle : visite en petit groupe tout compris

Description

Me and my wife were really enjoying the tour. Chris is an awesome guide and person. It was really interesting and cool. Chris explained and answered all kind of questions and make our first mountain adventure not just memorable but also intellectual and mentally chilled.
My sister and I went to Seattle and did a few excursions with Evergreen Escapes. We had the best time seeing a few national parks and experiencing the beauty and wonder of our country. Our tour guide Claire was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! She was very knowledgable and answered all our questions.
We signed up for a specific tour with a specific itinerary for only 10 passengers. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable but inexperienced in how to deal with demanding and difficult guests. Rather than adhering to the published itinerary she gave choices and often deferred to one guest who was not interested or did not want to participate in all activities. As a result, we did not see two of the locations. The drinks and food choices were very good. The guide did a wonderful job setting up for lunch. It would have been helpful if the van had been equipped with a PA system so the guide's narration could be heard by all passengers seated further back in the van. Also, for a tour company whose main business is sightseeing, having clean windows in which to see the scenery would have been much appreciated.
Hi Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and offer valuable feedback. We always appreciate hearing from our guests! I'm sorry to hear that there were some disappointments with your Mount Rainier National Park tour. Our team values the fact that you have entrusted us with your vacation and we do not take that responsibility lightly! I understand how frustrating it can feel when your expectations are not met. I did want to clarify - we do not provide a set itinerary for any of our tours. We do publish a sample itinerary which highlights some of the possible stops within the Park. We do not expect to visit each of these destinations within a single-day tour, nor do we guarantee any specific stops. I'm truly sorry if that was not made clear! We believe that we can give our guests the best possible experience by remaining flexible and allowing for last minute decisions based on factors such as traffic, weather, crowds, timing and group interests. When it comes to factoring in group interests, we strive to represent the balanced interests of the group. It sounds as though that was not the case in your experience and if so, we apologize. Thank you for flagging the cleanliness of the windows. We have already addressed this with our team and we appreciate it being brought to our attention. We agree that clean windows are a critical element of a sightseeing tour, and while we endeavor to always uphold this standard, we clearly missed the mark this time. Thank you again for travelling with us and we hope we can host you again in the future. We hope you have a lovely rest of your summer and would love to hear from you if you have any further thoughts to share! We had a wonderful tour of Mount Rainier National Park with Matthew Card (Matt) as our naturalist guide. The booking experience through TripAdvisor was easy. The messaging regarding pickup/time was seamless. We were picked up on time from our hotel. The van was clean and Matthew was friendly and knowledgeable. After driving for an hour+ and after entering the park, we stopped for a quick coffee break (and the tasty coffee cake) and a view of the mighty Mt Rainier. Then we continued driving up to the Paradise area/Visitor Center. We saw Myrtle Fall and then took a quick hike on the Skyline Trail. We then headed to Reflection Lake where we had a sumptuous lunch (catered and arranged by Evergreen Escapes). After that we drive to Longmire, and took a mile hike on the Shadows of the Past trail (it was an old growth forest area). Throughout the day, Matt kept providing us with good info about the national park and its history. Finally, after a great day we drove back to Seattle and were dropped-off at our hotel. We would definitely do more tours with this company in future.
Zacch was a fabulous guide who was passionate about this beautiful park and our planet. Pretty easy going walks wise and a good lunch.
We had a great day in Mt Rainier National Park. The weather was perfect so we were able to see Mt Rainier from all angles. We were also lucky to see deer, black bears and numerous birds and flowers. The food supplied was plentiful and tasty. Our guide Zacch was passionate and knowledgeable. He was very good at taking us to the quieter spots where the crowds were much smaller, making the tour an all round excellent day.
From start to finish this was by far one of our most magnificent tours! Mt. Rainier is magical and surreal! You can’t even grasp the tremendous sight! Our tour guide was wonderful. He took excellent care of us and made sure we were comfortable! Fed us a great lunch and provided many snacks and drinks! Matthew was truly one of the BEST! Felt like family by the time our tour was over!! Taught us so much about the National Park and the mountain! A pleasure to spend the day with him!! Thank you for a lifelong memory!!
5 Stars – Highly Recommend Evergreen Escapes and Marty! We booked a Mount Rainier tour with Evergreen Escapes while visiting Seattle, and honestly, it was one of the best parts of our trip. From the start, everything was incredibly well organized. They picked us up at our hotel and reached out the day before to confirm the pickup time and let us know exactly what type and color vehicle to look for. It's a small touch, but it immediately gave me confidence that we were in good hands. Our group only had 10 people (their max amount of guests on a trip), which made the experience feel much more personal. The van was clean, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of room to stretch out during the drive. On the way to the mountain, our guide Marty stopped for a restroom break and had fresh pressed coffee, tea, hot chocolate for our kids, and several delicious breakfast breads from a local bakery. What really set this tour apart was how much Marty knew about the area. Even before we got to Mount Rainier, he took us to several off-the-beaten-path spots with beautiful waterfalls and amazing forest and mountain views that we never would have found on our own. We happened to visit over the July 4th holiday weekend, so the park was packed. Traffic into the Paradise area meadows was being controlled by park rangers (rightfully so), and the estimated wait from where we were stopped was over two hours. At that point, it looked like our chances of reaching the famous wildflower meadows we wanted to see were pretty slim. That's when Marty really showed how experienced he is. Instead of sitting in traffic, he came up with a plan--he found a safe place to park and led our group on a lesser-known, but established trail. The hike was about a mile and moderately challenging, but it ended up being one of the highlights of the day. We walked through beautiful forests, stopped at incredible overlooks, spotted black bears in the distance eating huckleberries, and ultimately made it to the meadows and the incredible views of Mount Rainier that everyone had come to see. When it seemed like the holiday crowds might derail the day, Marty found a way to make it happen. His knowledge, flexibility, and positive attitude turned what could have been a frustrating situation into an unforgettable experience. After exploring the mountain, we hiked back down and enjoyed a fantastic lunch that the Evergreen Escapes team had prepared near a waterfall. The day still wasn't over—Marty continued taking us to scenic viewpoints with incredible photo opportunities on the drive back to see the mountain and other great natural areas. We were so impressed with Evergreen Escapes that we booked a second tour with them to Olympic National Park later that same week. This company truly thinks of everything. They provide water, snacks, and even hiking boots if you need them. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience. I can't recommend Evergreen Escapes, and especially Marty, highly enough. If you're looking for a small-group tour with excellent guides, great service, and people who genuinely care about making your trip special, this is the company to book with.
Used Evergreen Escapes for a guided tour to Mt. Rainer and Zacch was our guide and was amazing. Very knowledgeable and well prepared. Highly recommend.
Excellent, very experienced and knowledgable guide. Super friendly and really knew his stuff. Such a great day!! Lunch was super delicious and both veggie/ vegan and meat-eater friendly. Was super impressed by Zaach and his extensive hobbies. Definitely worth booking if you’re in Seattle :)
