Le meilleur d'Ingapirca: une aventure au Machu Picchu équatorien

Description

We really enjoyed this trip. Both of us are interested in archeology, and this was a perfect day trip for us from Cuenca. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and he provided lots of info during the drive. At Ingapirca there is a local guide who leads the tour, but our guide was a long to translate for us. Afterwards we had a nice lunch at a pretty restaurant.
We've gone on many tours in different countries and this was by far the most enjoyable. It was a terrific combination of riding through the countryside and taking in the breathtaking scenery, going on a beautiful hike, exploring the Inca ruin, enjoying a traditional snack and lunch, as well as a little shopping. A big thank you to Thomas for an unforgettable day and lots of memories! When we return to Cuenca, will definitely book another tour with him.
Thank you Thara and Jason for being friendly and communicative guests. I wish you happy travels and I hope you can come back soon. All the best, Thomas
Thomas was very friendly and organized our day very well. He explained some history of the indigenous peoples of Ecuador while we drove to Ingapirca, then included a well timed stop for food at a beautiful restaurant that is truly a hidden gem. After we acclimated to the altitude, he accompanied us through the ruins and museum. He very kindly took photos of us enjoying the experience and sent them later, which I've never seen a tour guide do! When I asked him if he knew how to get a hard-to-find piece of clothing in Cuenca as a gift for my family, he asked around and contacted me within a few days with the exact location of the one store that carries it!! I was so happy that he followed through on his promise! Thomas really went above and beyond.
Thank you for this detailed review. I hope to have the honor of hosting you again in another tour in the future. Happy travels!
