Niché au cœur du Marais, le Marché des Enfants Rouges est le plus ancien marché couvert de Paris, datant de 1615. À cet arrêt, nous explorerons ses stands de restauration animés, découvrirons l’origine de son nom inhabituel et nous nous imprégnerons de l’atmosphère animée qui en fait un favori parmi les habitants et les amateurs de cuisine.
Nichée dans le quartier juif du Marais, la rue des Rosiers est une rue animée, riche en histoire et en saveurs. À cette étape, nous parcourrons des siècles d’héritage juif, explorerons son importance culturelle et découvrirons certains des meilleurs endroits pour les falafels, les pâtisseries et d’autres spécialités locales appréciées.
Construite au XVIIe siècle, l'église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis est un exemple frappant d'architecture baroque au cœur du Marais. À cette étape, nous admirerons sa grande façade et son intérieur somptueux tout en découvrant les liens royaux de l’église, ses trésors artistiques et sa place dans l’histoire religieuse parisienne.
Caché derrière un grand hôtel particulier du XVIIe siècle, le Jardin de l’Hôtel de Sully offre une évasion paisible au cœur du Marais. À cet arrêt, nous entrerons dans ce jardin paisible, nous en apprendrons davantage sur la noble famille qui vivait autrefois ici, et nous explorerons son lien avec la place des Vosges, située à proximité.
Plus ancienne place planifiée de Paris, la place des Vosges est un chef-d’œuvre de symétrie et d’élégance. Entouré de demeures de briques rouges et d’arcades verdoyantes, nous explorerons ses origines royales, les légendes littéraires comme Victor Hugo, et le charme tranquille qui fait de cette place un joyau parisien intemporel.

The tour with Sherif was an excellent highlight of our holiday in Paris. We loved the food that he proposed to us, the wine selection was also great. We were able to learn more about Paris and Le Marais district and eat some amazing food in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour!

He didn’t just take us sightseeing, he gave us a true insider’s experience of Le Marais and Paris. What made the day so special was how he knew the owners, chefs, and people at every stop. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed like friends and truly felt like we were part of the neighborhood and the community. We tasted our way through some amazing local favorites…French cheeses, charcuterie, wine, gratin dauphinois, French onion soup, escargots, croque monsieur, beef bourguignon, and even an incredible sorbet. 🍷🧀🥖🐌 Sherif also took us through some of the most charming parts of Le Marais, including the Marché des Enfants Rouges, Rue des Rosiers in the Jewish Quarter, and Place des Vosges. He shared the history, stories, and little details that we would have completely missed on our own. But honestly, what made the experience unforgettable was Sherif himself. He was warm, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely excited to share his Paris with us. You could tell that he loves his neighborhood and the people in it, and by the end of the day, we felt like we were experiencing Paris with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. Sherif, thank you for a wonderful afternoon in Paris. Sherif was an absolutely wonderful guide! He is knowledgeable and personable.
