Vestige du palais des premiers rois de France, la Conciergerie devint une prison sous la Révolution.
Autrefois appelée « île aux Vaches », vous y trouverez les plus belles demeures des XVIe et XVIIe siècles, construites pour la plupart par l'architecte Le Vau.
Il s'agit du plus ancien pont en pierre de Paris ; il a été inauguré en 1606. En son centre, on peut voir la statue équestre du roi Henri IV, surnommé le « Vert Galant » en raison de ses nombreuses conquêtes féminines.
Avec sa façade rappelant son passé de gare ferroviaire construite en 1900, le bâtiment abrite aujourd'hui un musée qui présente des chefs-d'œuvre du XIXe siècle, et plus précisément les œuvres des impressionnistes.
Construit pour l'Exposition universelle de 1937, il abrite divers musées (le musée de la Marine, le musée des Monuments français, le musée de l'Homme...).

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. We loved the indoor check-in center which was clean and had air conditioning. The food and service was outstanding. I recommend Bateaux Mouches Dinner Cruises to everyone. It is on the expensive side but worth the extra cost.
We bought the excellence package and it was! Many food choices in each category and very tasty. A bottle of red wine and champagne included as well as a welcome glass. Service was very good. The atmosphere was elegant and the music was a live pianist and violin player. No techno pop. Do not preorder a cab. Didn’t work. Just order one on the G7 app when you’re done. Check in process for dinner was organized but a bit long. The people were polite but in different though when our cab didn’t show , one of their people tried to help. We didn’t have to ask. The scenery was so impressive and the Eiffel Tower lighted up at night was fantastic. Overall, we’d do it again.

This cruise was the perfect first evening in Paris for us! You will see many very crowded tour boats on the Seine, this one is elegant with plenty of space for all. The food was good and the wait staff were very accommodating. Tell the staff if you are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries for a special surprise! There was a pianist and a violin player who played throughout the cruise. The banks of the Seine and bridges were full of people watching and waving at the passing boats and enjoying the sunset. Take your champagne up to the top deck and watch the beautiful city float by!

An unforgettable evening with dinner and live music on the Seine. Nice ambiance with a good view of the city. The highlight, of course, the illuminated Eiffel Tower with a glitter effect on the hour.
