Situé le long de la promenade des Glaciers, dans le parc national Banff, le glacier Crowfoot doit son nom à sa forme qui ressemble à une patte d’oie. Il se trouve au-dessus du lac Bow et est un exemple frappant de la beauté glaciaire de la région, avec de multiples « orteils » de glace s’étendant sur le flanc de la montagne. Un arrêt parfait pour des photos, de courtes promenades et des vues panoramiques des Rocheuses canadiennes.
Le lac Bow est connu pour ses eaux turquoises cristallines et son superbe décor montagneux, y compris le glacier Bow. C’est une étape préférée pour la photographie, les petites randonnées et les pique-niques, avec des reflets paisibles par temps calme qui capturent parfaitement la beauté des Rocheuses.
Nommé comme l'un des drives les plus pittoresques au monde. En chemin, vous verrez des montagnes imposantes, des glaciers, des lacs turquoises, des cascades et une faune abondante.
Le lac Peyto est célèbre pour sa couleur turquoise vive et sa forme de tête de loup lorsqu'il est vu du belvédère du sommet Bow. Alimenté par les eaux de fonte glaciaire, le lac est entouré de montagnes imposantes et de forêts luxuriantes, ce qui en fait un arrêt incontournable pour la photographie et les petites randonnées.

Le voyage se poursuit le long de l'époustouflante promenade des Glaciers (autoroute 93), souvent classée parmi les plus belles routes sur Terre. À leur arrivée au Columbia Icefield Centre, les clients peuvent choisir de monter à bord du légendaire Ice Explorer Snowcoach (activité complémentaire facultative à réaliser au moins 7 jours avant le début du voyage) pour une balade unique sur le glacier Athabasca, au sommet de la glace formée au fil des millions d'années.

The tour was sunny and the view was good, the guide KAN was very friendly to us and thanks to the horse guide KAN. Along the way, the snowy mountains are beautiful, and each of the four lakes has its own characteristics. The most important thing is to take a lot of good photos, the itinerary is very easy, the horse guide service is very well in place, and also tells us a lot about the human history.

性價比最高的併團!當天只有14位團員,領導Kan Ma是香港人,全程都可以三語廣播,帶着老人家也不怕聽不懂。 因為我住Banff,1120才在酒店出發,特別注意的是網站上面只有固定酒店可選, 但領隊其實前一天就會whatsapp你,你跟他說 pick up跟drop off在哪裡就行,不同的pick up跟 drop off也可以,比加Calgary pick up,Banff drop off。 這個團的snowcoach是另外加購,官方網站寫要14天前預訂,我猜是怕沒位置,什麼服務供應商也是pursuit的票,因為領隊當天控制時間,也不好自己訂,而且服務供應商的價錢還便宜一點。我們是1645的snowcoach,之前會先去其實湖看看eg Bow Lake,本來這團是不含skywalk(時間不容許,本身pursuit的票就有 skywalk),但它的shuttle完了snowcoach之後就自動帶了我們去skywalk,意外驚喜!後來問領隊,pursuit的安排本來就混亂,有時候會這樣, 只是苦了領隊多等了我們快一小時,最後我們 2200才回到Banff,如果是Calgary大概要0000......

The tour got us to the glacier too-late, we missed the Bus that is suppose to take us to the glacier point. - The whole point of going to the Columbia icefield was to get on the glacier to see it up close. - Instead we had to see from nearly 2 miles away. The tour guide was not willing to wait for us to take a later bus since it would delay his return schedule. 2. The tour guide knew some of the people on the tour had tickets for the Icefied bus, he did not tell the rest of us. As a result we had a group of people who were simply stranded at the bus-station. - When I asked him about this problem, he claims he told us to book- online but we never heard him say this. - Asking if we had tickets for the icefield bus should have been the FIRST thing he should have confirmed.. 4. The tour guide was a good driver & nice person but he barely spoke english. - We could barely understand what he was saying, we understood about at the most 25% of what he said. - He did however seem to speak good chinese, & was communicating with the chinese people on the tour. 5. Bottom line the important thing is that we did not get a chance to explore the Columbia Icefield.... 6. Please refund the cost of the tour for the 3 of us...

We recommend contacting us at least 7 days in advance to book activities at the Icefield. The tour schedule is fixed and arranged in advance, so the driver and other guests cannot wait indefinitely. Lastly, there were non-Chinese-speaking guests on your tour, and our guide did communicate with them as well. However, we value your feedback and will work to improve the overall level of our guides. Firstly, we did do all the activities on time, but the journey was just horrible. I have never seen such a reckless driver, for a personal vehicle or driving a bus with 20 or so people on board. He cut in and out lanes and even crossing the solid line on his side. Honking and cursing everyone who was in his way. At some point, he was at least 40 km/hr over the limit. On the return trip, we stopped at the town of Banff and while we were waiting for other customers to unload, another fellow bus driver caught up and complaining him cutting him off and he just joke about it. We end up at the same location so what's the point of such reckless driving. It might be because of this abusive use of the vehicle, about 50 km from the airport when we return, there was a loud cranking noise underneath the car. After a few minutes of inspection, he decided to keep going at half of the speed, ironically. It has to be the longest 40 minutes of my life and probably also true for the rest of the 20 passengers. With the company logo on the side of the vehicle, it cannot be good for the reputation.

The trip itself was fantastic with incredibly beautiful nature. However, our driver drove extremely badly. He was driving very hard - overtaking everything and everyone on the highway. Inside and out and much of the way with one hand as he held the microphone in his hand much of the time.

My family booked this trip. It was a good one especially with our nice tour guide Ray. Really enjoy time with Ray! However the schedule is too many spots and no time to enjoy every spot. And Ray has to deliver the bottle water and luggage tag, everything all by himself. Too much loading.
