Emerald Bay est le deuxième endroit le plus photographié des États-Unis. C'est une belle halte. En hiver, il peut être fermé en raison d'avalanches. Mais la majeure partie de l’année, Around Tahoe Tours vous place dans les endroits parfaits d’Emerald Bay. Prenez des photos, écoutez les histoires et découvrez la baie. Pas de parking ni de marche, je profite simplement d'Emerald Bay. Nous verrons Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island et Vikingsholm.
Le film primé aux Oscars "Le Parrain II" a été tourné sur la rive ouest du lac Tahoe. La mafia a passé pas mal de temps à Lake Tahoe. Les casinos de Reno et de la North Shore ont amené la mafia sur les rives du lac Tahoe. Partout où il y a de l'argent, ils seraient là. De plus, le lac est très profond. Demandez à Fredo
Il s'agit d'un arrêt saisonnier. Ouvert du 15 mai au 15 octobre. C'est une belle petite plage de sable blanc. Superbe lieu de baignade sur le lac Tahoe et un merveilleux petit complexe avec des chalets et des maisons à louer ainsi que du camping pour camping-car et du camping sous tente. Il y a un magasin général ici et de bonnes salles de bains.
Nous nous garons au centre d'accueil de Tahoe City et marchons jusqu'au pont Fanny. En dessous du barrage de Tahoe City, nous pouvons voir des truites brunes et arc-en-ciel incroyablement grandes et magnifiques. C'est là que la rivière Truckee sort du lac Tahoe. Le barrage ne mesure que 1m80 et n'est pas là pour retenir l'eau mais pour l'aider à sortir.
C'est une merveilleuse halte au célèbre restaurant et bar Gar Wood's. Prenez un boisé mouillé et marchez sur la jetée. De superbes photographies montrent à quel point l’eau est claire. En été, nous pouvions voir Woody sur le lac. Gar Woods, Chris-Crafts, Rivas et Hackers. Beaux bateaux anciens en bois.
Around Tahoe Tours fait un arrêt dans le plus bel endroit du lac Tahoe. Parc d'État de Sand Harbor au Nevada. Maison de gros rochers massifs entourés de toutes les couleurs de bleu. Cela semble tropical à certaines heures. Super endroit pour nager avec beaucoup d'histoire, et probablement notre meilleur arrêt. Sortez, dégourdissez-vous les jambes et prenez beaucoup de photos. Vous ne voudrez plus partir.
Autour de Tahoe s'arrête à Logan Shoals Vista Trail car c'est le meilleur endroit pour voir Cave Rock. Cave Rock est le site sacré le plus célèbre du lac Tahoe. Accueil des esprits des Indiens Paiute et Washoe. Cave Rock n'est pas du tout une roche, c'est une tige volcanique laissée il y a longtemps.

WOW, Mark was great. My advice is to take this tour the first day and not wait. He actually made me change my mind about coming back to Tahoe again. The first 3 days were frustrating with closed beaches and other issue. Mark took us to beaches we went to the next day and had a great time. Let us know about an ice cream store. Mark was great. He played the pre-recorded audio but would pause to fill in more insight he had about that part of Tahoe. I learned so much more about Tahoe. He was excellent drive and more importantly where to park. We have fabulous pictures now. He took pains to take pictures for each couple and he framed many of our perfectly. I never felt rushed at the various stops. I had a real chance to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe and understood more of the history. DEFINITLY TAKE THIS TOUR and if possible ask for Mark. I'm sure the other drivers are also excellent but I can only speak about Mark.

The tour was very good! Van who drove our van was very knowledgeable about the area because he grew up here. As seniors the pace was good. Van (also a younger senior 😀) was very helpful by answering our questions. As first time travelers to Lake Tahoe the tour introduced us to a wide variety of information about the lake. All 4 of us old timers recommend this tour.
Good afternoon from Lake Tahoe It was very nice to get your review for Van. He is one of the best tour guides we have now. We got lucky and he just dropped in our lap about 3 months ago. But he also went to school with me at Incline High School. And yes he knows the area very well. He spent some time in the army and has some very good logistical and organizational skills as well and is very personable. In fact, every year is a Santa Claus. For the local community🧑🎄

Having grown up on Lake Tahoe, Van showed us many special spots and vantage points that only a native would know about. My husband was particularly excited to see the boathouse from Godfather II and the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Another highlight was seeing Cal Neva and the dude trip to Sierra Boat Company to see a one-of-a-kind Jaguar boat! We highly recommend this intimate, personalized tour of the lake.

Our tour guide and driver was very courteous and kept us up to date on his arrival time as this did change. He was very informative and gave us lots of history and legends in the area. It was a pleasurable tour.
