It was beautiful due to the lake and the clear kayaks. The guide was nice but God forbid you have an emergency or need help. We did the experience with our 9 year old and 13 year old daughter, my husband and I. It was our first time kayaking. My husband got sea sick immediately but it wore off luckily. My 9 year old panicked and didn’t paddle the entire trip. On our way back I got extremely frustrated as the waves kept pushing us back and with just me paddling it took us longer than usual to get back. Nobody turned back for us even when we had out paddle up high signaling for help. Luckily we made it back. But in case if we gave out lord know when we would have gotten help. You need at least 2 guides when you have 10 kayakers. The guide did take beautiful pictures and shared with us… again guide (Daniel) was nice.
We had the absolute best time on our clear kayak tour! Daniel was an amazing tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having an unforgettable adventure. Kayaking out to Bonsai Rock was incredible, and thanks to Daniel’s encouragement, several of us even took the leap off the rock! It was such a fun experience and definitely a highlight of our Lake Tahoe trip. The entire tour was well organized, beautiful, and so much fun from start to finish. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it! I would recommend Daniel and this company to anyone looking for a memorable experience on Lake Tahoe
We had a wonderful clear kayak excursion on Lake Tahoe with Jacob! He was informative and patient. He was able to learn everyone's name and make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. He took time to take pictures of our group and share them with us at the end. He gave other recommendations for restaurants and hikes in the area. The entire activity was well thought through and executed. Highly recommend!
Omg what a great experience! 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back and do it again! Great views and unique beautiful experience.
It was a great day. We didn't paddle very far and I would have loved to stay out longer. However, the tour guide made our 2 hours a lot of fun and was very knowledgeable of the Lake and the area.
The tour/ experience is guided by folks who are very familiar with the Lake. There is shuttle service to the lake. Everyone in the Kayak Tesm was personable, helpful and knowledgeable.
The water is so stunningly Beautiful!! The photos don’t due it justice! It’s easy to paddle and so peaceful.
We only found this outfit because all the other north lake kayak tours were already sold out, and so glad we did! We’ll never use another anytime we’re in Tahoe. The staff was relaxed and friendly, our guide Adrian was outstanding, and the experience was everything we hoped it would be and more. While you can bring your own phone/camera to take selfies and video, the guide has smart glasses and will take photos which they will air drop to you at the end for no added expense. Even though most guides and reviews say you should go super early, we had a Noon booking on a Tuesday and it was perfect. Not too crowded at all. Easy to take photos and videos without anyone else in the background, and no problem navigating around the others we came across. Equipment was all solid, bought sunscreen from the shop before we left, but still got plenty burned. Our own fault for not applying everywhere including feet, legs, ears, and scalp. Lesson learned! Next time we’ll likely rent kayaks of our own and e-bikes to explore instead of driving in the car everywhere. Wear sandals, flip flops or water shoes. Sand is HOT when you get out, and you don’t want the hassle of dealing with shoes and socks after you get out with wet sandy feet. Also bring along a small towel if you want to take a dip when you take the break near bonsai rock, which I strongly recommend. 10/10 would reccommend.
The staff was organized, professional and friendly. The kayaks were in great shape. Our guide, Daniel, was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. I gave it 4 stars because I felt we did a lot of floating around, not doing much of anything, and spent too much time jumping off the rocks. I would have loved more of actual kayaking. I think maybe we would have gone longer if the other group was in better shape. Maybe that’s why we didn’t go out as far. I don’t know.
We had such a lovely time with Will today! There’s no better way to get a quiet feel for the lake and see the scenery than from a kayak. From start to finish the service was outstanding and the views and equipment were perfect. This is the one thing that we did in Lake Tahoe that was well worth the price.
