A must-do in Mumbai to see it come to life in the morning - my favourite part of my trip! Thanks to my brilliant tour guide Alam, I was also able to not just see but better understand local Mumbai life. My favourite parts were having masala chai and seeing the fish market which (according to Alam) wasn’t busy as it was monsoon season, but it was busy enough for me! Alam was very knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions, and willing to help with other queries about my wider trip Mumbai too. A very kind, knowledgable man! Thank you Alam 🙏🏼
A unique experience in Mumbai! Avoid the touristic spots and see the real day to day lives of the people of the city. Our tour guide was so knowledgable and made sure we felt safe but got the full experience. Thank you!
Alam was a great tour guide! He was happy to answer all our questions and gave lots of detail and was very knowledgeable. Thank you Alam! Would definitely recommend, especially interesting and fun to see the flower market
I had an amazing bicycle tour with Alam. He’s a great storyteller and companion! The best start of the day with breathtaking views
It's totally worth it, I would recommend the Mumbai tour, especially if you don't have much time in the city. I have a wonderful time with my guide Alan.
This was a great tour, Alam took me to places I would never have found by myself in the cool of the morning. It had a lot of variety and he was happy to talk not only about what we were seeing, but his life in Mumbai. Would highly recommend this tour.
This tour was a truly memorable experience. Our guide, Alam, was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us fascinating insights not just about the sites but also about the cultural context of what we were seeing. He paced the tour well, giving us plenty of time for photos and moments to take everything in. The tour started early at 5:30 AM, but this timing allowed us to explore the markets at their busiest and most vibrant. We visited the Sasson Fish Market, a newspaper sorting site, flower/vegetable/fruit markets, Dhobi Ghat (the iconic open-air laundry), and the Iskcon Temple. We also enjoyed a short train ride, a tea break, and stopped by the Gateway of India and Marine Drive. What stood out was how immersive it felt. Rather than just hearing a guide talk, this tour gave us a firsthand experience of daily life in Mumbai, from bustling markets to the rhythmic chaos of the city waking up. That said, it’s not without its challenges—be prepared for crowds and the distinct smell of the fish market. Despite the early start, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see a different side of Mumbai. It’s one of the best tours I’ve taken, offering a balance of cultural immersion and unique experiences without overwhelming you with unnecessary details. Perfect for anyone seeking something authentic and engaging.
A colourful tour it is! Do yourself a favour, put your jet lag to good use and brave the early start. Get whisked through the streets of Mumbai as the entrepreneurial are already hard at work but most of the population are not yet on the roads. Each stop was a sight to behold and Maze, our guide, adds great historical and contemporary context to where you will go. I can’t recommend Maze or this tour more highly!
This tour is higly recommended. An eye opener to every tourists about India. Mumbai is very different than Delhi. This tour made so easy with the help of Alam (name of the tour guide). I highly recommend him! He’s good in english and he is telling massive infos about specific places! To all Pinoys & Other travelers, I will be releasing a vlog about this tour on YouTube (Name: Ivan de Guzman). The best solo travel experience!!!
Fabulous tour. Ganesh was very engaging and the tour was extremely informative. My favorites were the fishing docks and flower/ herb/ veggie markets. Mujib, the driver, was also great. Highly recommended.
