We had an amazing full-day tour in Mumbai today with the same great team throughout the day. I want to specifically note that they never asked us to leave a review. I am writing this because the quality was genuinely very high and deserves to be recognized. Our guide Ganesh was outstanding — fluent English, very knowledgeable, smart, and engaging. You can tell he really loves his city and knows the history behind every place. He explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. The highlight was the *Dharavi slum tour* — an unforgettable experience. I expected chaos, but it was surprisingly efficiently organized. It’s not about poverty, it’s about hard work, small industries, and incredible entrepreneurship. Very eye-opening and done in a respectful way. Our driver Mohammed Islam was also excellent — very safe driving in Mumbai traffic, which is not easy! The car was clean, with good AC. It’s not brand new, but very well maintained and comfortable. The whole excursion took about 6.5 hours and we covered every single attraction mentioned in the program. Be ready to walk — we did around 9,000 steps, but this is the best way to really see more. If you want to see real Mumbai, book with this team. Thank you, Ganesh and Mohammed!
Quick overview of the highlights of south Mumbai with a friendly guide Dawood and clean car with a driver. He customized it to our level of activity since we travelled with a senior citizen with knee issues which meant we couldn't do longer walks or climbs. He found out our interest and took us to a very interesting dhobi area where we could walk in and meet some folks. Also stopped at a church that we were curious about. Vada pav from a very busy stall was worth the wait in the queue in the hot sun.
It was just the two of us in an air-conditioned car with guide Ganesh and his driver. Ganesh has 20 years experience and knew the answers to all our questions. The great thing is you can go at your own pace and you’re not restricted to times. We actually finished within the time allotted and were dropped at a local supermarket at our request. It’s a great way to see the city and you can always get very cheap Ubers if you want to return to anything.
Suresh is a really nice guide, I had an amazing time with him, learned so much about the place and had great food as well.
GO ON THIS TOUR! Alam is so knowledgeable and is so passionate. I would do this again! I learned so much from this tour!
We had an absolutely brilliant day, lovely driver who picked us up from hotel, looked after us & even accompanied us on the ferry trip to/from Elephanta Island to meet our guide over there - fascinating place to visit & great to hear the history 👍 After ferry trip back to Mumbai our driver arranged pick up with another lovely guide who showed us around the main highlights of Mumbai, absolutely brilliant & lovely full day (8am to 5pm!) Highly recommend if passing through or have a limited time in Mumbai 10/10 👏
We signed up for a small group tour but ended up being a private tour for the two of us. Our tour guide Alam, and driver, Pawan, did an excellent job in navigating through our scheduled itineraries. Our 5+ hour tour was extensive and covered most of Mumbai’s top attractions. We were picked up and returned to our hotel, with a most memorable experience! Alam was friendly and engaging in providing us with good background information and historical facts on places we visited. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an overview of Mumbai in one day!
This was a good tour to get the essence of Mumbai. Our guide Sayyed was great, he is knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and flexible. Our driver Arun was great as well, he drove very nicely and made us feel comfortable, which says a lot if you know anything about the traffic in India. We had selected the option with Elephanta cave tour (Elephanta Island). The guide there, Dalvit, was also outstanding- explained everything in detail, and took some great pictures of us. The Island is about 75 minutes by ferry- and just a note of caution- the ferries here are bad, but they are public ferries not something within the control of the tour operator.
Alam is an exceptional guide—extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He did a great job adapting the pace and itinerary to suit my interests. Our driver, Ranjit, also did a remarkable job navigating us everywhere safely and punctually. We’ve come away with so many wonderful memories. An absolute must-do!
We had a layover in Mumbai so took the opportunity to explore the city. We booked this tour based on the great reviews and were not disappointed. The tour guide Loki and the driver communicated well prior to the tour. Loki was very knowledgeable and his explanations brought the city to life. A full day out but well worth it
