La séance commence par une introduction claire et perspicace au contexte culturel et à la philosophie de la cérémonie du thé. Vous observerez ensuite une démonstration de l'hôte, où chaque mouvement est exécuté avec soin, précision et intention. Après cela, vous préparerez votre propre matcha, guidé pas à pas. À la fin de l'expérience, vous saurez non seulement comment faire du matcha, mais aussi acquérir une compréhension plus approfondie de la culture Japonaise - et éprouver un sentiment de calme. Cette expérience est une expérience idéale pour ceux qui recherchent quelque chose de plus significatif qu'une simple activité touristique typique. 2 bols de Matcha (un par l'hôte, un fait par vous ou avec un compagnon) et des bonbons Japonais traditionnels de saison sont inclus. Idéalement situé à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Karasuma Oike. Vous pouvez également continuer l’expérience à la maison – en préparant du matcha pour vous-même ou pour quelqu’un de spécial – en utilisant des bols de thé et du matcha soigneusement sélectionnés disponibles à l’achat sur le site.

Great experience learning all about matcha, the person was really kind and clear explaining and making us part of the ceremony.

We have been to Kyoto 5 times, family from the United States and by far this was the best learning experience for tea making and learning the tea culture. It was a beautiful ceremony and our children, ages 6 and 8, loved it and got to participate. Perfect right amount of time associated for kids this age and adults. We highly recommend this tea experience.
They did a good job overall. I enjoyed learning the traditional way to do the ceremony. I liked mixing the matcha and going through the small wall opening.

The ceremony is more than just matcha. It's about understanding the philosophy behind. The tea master has also explained the history before the ceremony developed to what we see nowadays. I chose to absorb the whole ceremony in my mind instead of photos. The experience is not something replaceable.
