We were able to see a lot in a short time however… the geiko/ mako do not appreciate being stalked. It seemed our guide was determined to hang out until we saw one. Our guide seemed a bit inexperienced. Our group was larger than expected and they DO NOT Provide HEADPHONES- which means you will not be able to hear at least half the tour!!! Only about the 3-4 people standing closest to him could hear. I found myself googling our location to determine which shrine/ temple/ site we were standing by to learn about it. Doing this, I was left behind. Luckily my husband moved on slowly until I caught up. Also, He led the group into traffic at 2 different intersections! Part of the group was across was left the street because the crosswalk signal turned!! This is what I meant by he must be inexperienced- he didn’t seem to have a good handle on keeping his group together or speaking loud enough for us to follow. He rushed through busy major areas (where we wanted pics) and would spend time on a random insignificant street. Fun area- weird pacing and I gave up on being able to hear him.

Really great way to see Kyoto highly recommend on first night to get acquainted with the city. Naoke was also a great tour guide!

Absolute waste of time. Guide arrived late - Guide knew nothing - did not contribute anything to the tour. Spent all the time on his phone and did not engage with the group. I have never had an experience so bad and based on this would not trust this provider ever again.

Loved our tour with Claudia! She was really nice, knowledgable and welcoming. She was able to answer all our questions and tell us very interesting things about Geishas. She explained to us how to be respectfull of the area we were in. Would definitely book again!

This was a wonderful tour! One of the best we've done in recent years. We booked the small group premium tour and Shingo was our guide. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my many questions. Kyoto is a beautiful, history rich area and the tour's context made it even better. Highly recommend.
