Tour was great, Ayoko was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and considerate, took us where we wanted to go and was very pleasant, we throughly enjoyed our day with her
Our Kyoto full day tour was wonderful. Our tour operator, Ahmed was extremely responsive, even last minute, and tailored the day to meet our needs and wants. Our tour guide, Kazz and driver were punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. We would never have been able to see as many sights in Kyoto without them and Kazz took so many photos of us, we will remember this day for a long time. Kyoto is a beautiful city and we are extremely grateful that we were able to get an insiders view of all its beauty. Thank you Ahmed, for putting together an amazing and wonderful day for us.
We booked this tour with Kieko, a very nice Japanese guide. She helped us book a taxi since we have children. She took us around beautiful temples and shrine, and Bamboo forest which is a must visit place though its crowded. Kieko was not just friendly, but also suggested a great local restaurant for lunch. Thank you Kieko
Thanks a lot and looking forward to serving you again in Japan. Kieko is one of our best guides and we are happy to see you enjoyed it
Thank you Yukari Hiro for the wonderful tour. We were able to see the golden temple, Arashiyama, the red gates in Inari shrine and Giesha district. Your were very friendly to us, and made the joy of Kyoto even more. Thank you
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are so pleased to hear that Yukari provided an excellent job. We hope you all the best and looking forward to see you again in Japan.
This tour was wonderful. Ahmed arranged transport from Kobe to Kyoto, and we spent a lovely day exploring the bamboo forest, the Nomomiya-jinja shrine, Kinkakujicho, Nijo castle and the Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, with time in between for a stroll through the food market. The tour touched on so many highlights, and Ahmed was able to share so much information.
Thank you so much for your wonderful words and looking forward to serving you again in Japan
Less than 24 hours before our 8 hour tour, Ahmed offered a car for 100,000 JPY (a ripoff). I was not given guide contact information, and tour was 1.5 hours late to start. Our guide was fantastic! But dealing with Ahmed (tour operator) was terrible. Our guide was not aware of pick up location and that we did NOT have a car. This is the responsibility of Ahmed, the tour operator. He is the one who interfaced with me. When I asked for compensation consideration, Ahmed said he would get back to me, but never did. It has been a week later and still no response from Ahmed. The tour cost $503 USD; I would guess the guide made less than $100. I do not recommend using this operator for a Kyoto tour. I’ve added screen shots of my communication with Ahmed.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. I’d like to clarify a few key points regarding your tour and address your concerns directly: 1. Transportation Option: The car service we offered was entirely optional. We always aim to give guests flexibility to choose what suits them best, and many guests prefer to ask us to arrange their own transportation or use public transit. I regret if this wasn’t communicated clearly enough in our earlier exchanges. 2. Tour Delay: The 1.5-hour delay was unfortunately due to a train accident on the line your guide was using, which was completely outside of our control. These incidents are rare but can cause significant disruption. Your guide communicated this as soon as he could and made every effort to reach you as quickly as possible. 3. Pick-Up Location Confusion: The guide was indeed informed of the agreed pick-up location. However, due to the delay caused by the train incident, he was not able to reach it on time, which may have caused some confusion upon arrival. I take full responsibility for the impact this had on your experience. I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with the guide—he is indeed fantastic and takes great pride in showing guests the best of Kyoto. That said, I take your comments seriously and will use them to improve the communication and logistics for future guests. Warm regards,

Ahmed was a great guide- knowledgeable and considerate of our diverse (ages 3-70) family. We saw so much in one day!
Thanks alot and I personally enjoyed my time with you. Greatings for your lovely family.
Incredible day in Kyoto with special thanks to Mike. He was a great guide that shared beautiful locations in Kyoto; even ones that weren’t packed with people. Our family especially enjoyed Mike’s way of not just sharing the history, but letting us experience it through a story! He was very helpful with all our requests. Thank you!
Thank you for your amazing review! I’m delighted you had such a great time on the tour. It was a pleasure to have you with us, and your feedback truly inspires me.
I realized at the last moment that the visit did not include the vehicle as was the case for other destinations, so the agency offered me a vehicle at the last moment for an absolutely insane price, which was necessary. pay in cash to the driver who didn't even have a receipt to give. The entire visit cost almost 1000 euros, this is unacceptable! We had a guide who was not one, unpleasant, who knew nothing about Kyoto, who was only a French teacher who took a job as a guide to make ends meet I imagine but absolutely not interested in taking care of us, in adapting to our desires, and who had nothing to say. A real disappointment, fortunately offset by the beauty of the sites we visited in Kyoto.
Thanks alot and we are sorry about this. However, this tour is not with a hired car as stated in the booking description. We have reached out to the guide to ask for details about the tour will update you later. The guide reported some issues regarding the group willing ness to share, since she tried her best to explain. Thanks alot
