⭕️ WOM – L'art du matcha ⭕️ Way of Matcha propose une cérémonie du thé en privé dans une véritable machiya de Kyoto, une maison habitée : il ne s'agit pas d'un lieu touristique, mais d'une demeure paisible où la vie quotidienne suit son cours. Comme l'espace est entièrement privé, les familles avec enfants sont les bienvenues. En l'absence d'autres clients, même les jeunes enfants peuvent participer en toute tranquillité et en toute sécurité, ce qui vous permet de vous détendre et de profiter de l'expérience à votre rythme, comme si vous étiez invité chez des habitants de Kyoto. Vous découvrirez le matcha étape par étape : vous regarderez un petit film sur les plantations de thé, vous moudrez des feuilles de thé à l'aide d'un moulin à meules traditionnel et vous assisterez à une cérémonie du thé authentique et sereine. Vous pourrez également préparer votre propre matcha à l'aide d'authentiques ustensiles de thé et le déguster tout frais. Cette expérience vous offre un moment paisible et intime à Kyoto : chaleureux, authentique et loin de la foule.

Wonderful guide May in a lovely space. We really enjoyed coming to the house and learning about matcha with a private ceremony. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We are so glad that we booked this private tea ceremony with Sachi! We were concerned about finding the location but there were signs to lead us to the correct place. After being warmly greeted by Sachi, the experience itself began with learning about the history and process before getting to observe the tea ceremony from Sachi and experience it ourselves. It was both educational and engaging. This was a highlight of our trip and we want to thank Sachi for making it such a lovely experience!

Was so sweet and private! They don’t make you rent anything before and you get wear their robes. We loved learning about matcha and the Polaroid they gave you is a great keepsake. It’s a small room so it was perfect for my husband and I and the instructor. A good break from walking!
We truly enjoyed this experience. The entire place was reserved just for us, which made it feel incredibly exclusive and gave us the warm sensation of being in a home. The hosts ,that speaks perfect English, were exceptionally kind and our child felt very comfortable. It was a lovely experience with the family. We highly recommend it.

I experienced the tea ceremony. They welcome you to the neighborhood, so you won't even get lost in the location of the store. It was a private space with a stylish interior and exterior feel, so I was able to enjoy a luxurious time. The finished matcha tasted delicious, too.
It was my first experience of the tea ceremony and it was a very pleasant time. Even for the first time, they taught me carefully, and the time I spent making tea in a quiet space allowed me to concentrate so much that I would forget my daily life! I felt it was such a wonderful experience and I want to join it again!
