BAMBOUS Promenade sous le bambou planant de Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, et visite du sanctuaire sacré Nonomiya OKOCHI SANSO GARDEN Explorez l'élégant jardin Okochi Sanso, où l'on sert du matcha et d'autres boissons, chaudes ou froides, dans son ancienne maison de thé. Les boissons sont incluses dans la visite. TEMPLE TENRYUJI Découvrez la beauté zen du Tenryu-ji, temple bouddhiste zen à couper le souffle qui appartient à la branche de Rinzai. Ensuite, choisissez entre OPTION A et OPTION B OPTION A Promenez-vous le long d'Arashiyama shopping Street, prenez un en-cas, admirez la forêt colorée de Kimono, traversez l'emblématique pont Togetsukyo, et profitez d'une vue panoramique sur le parc des singes d'Iwatayama. OPTION B Retournez à la gare pour un petit tour à travers la montagne, et allez pour un bon déjeuner parmi les habitants avec zéro touriste. Visitez la prestigieuse brasserie Tanzan, avec dégustation de saké incluse.

Explorez la bambouseraie et atteignez le sommet du parc Arashiyama
Prenez votre temps pour profiter du jardin privé Okochi Sanso, asseyez-vous et respirez profondément, avec une boisson servie dans une ancienne maison de thé transformée en aire de repos.
Explorez l'un des temples les plus célèbres de la ville, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, et admirez les poissons Koi dans l'étang. Profitez de la nature qui vous entoure et apprenez-en plus sur l'endroit que vous visitez.
OPTION A Arrêtez-vous à chaque magasin que vous voulez découvrir cette rue shopping incroyable à Arashiyama, et demandez à votre Guide de vous aider avec n'importe quoi.
OPTION A Outre la bambouseraie, c'est probablement le deuxième endroit le plus populaire pour une photo avec la rivière Katsura, et la vue majestueuse de ce pont emblématique.
OPTION A Après la fin de la visite, et en laissant votre Guide avec des souvenirs heureux pleins de bambous et des histoires merveilleuses, randonnez sur la colline et explorez le parc des singes. Cet endroit est particulièrement excitant pour les familles et les enfants.
OPTION B Laissez les touristes derrière vous, et retournez à la gare avec votre Guide à Kameoka, une zone située de l'autre côté de la montagne. Après votre arrivée à Kameoka, prenez un repos bien mérité avec un déjeuner local (budget non inclus, environ 1500 ¥).
OPTION B Notre voyage culmine à la prestigieuse brasserie Tanzan Sake, réputée pour son savoir-faire et son dévouement aux méthodes de brassage traditionnelles. Ici, vous découvrirez le processus délicat de production du saké — du polissage et de la fermentation du riz à la maturation. Veuillez noter : certaines sections de la brasserie peuvent ne pas être accessibles selon la saison de brassage et le calendrier de production. Cela garantit à la fois le contrôle de la qualité et la sécurité pendant les périodes de brassage actif. L'expérience se termine par une dégustation guidée de saké, où vous savourerez différentes variétés et découvrirez les arômes, textures et saveurs subtiles qui rendent le saké Japonais haut de gamme si distinctif. Alternative sans alcool possible, mais limitée à un ou deux types de boissons.

What an incredible experience! Toro was an absolutely amazing guide! He took us through the breathtaking Arashiyama Forest, a beautiful temple, and a stunning Japanese garden in Kyoto. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and he kept everyone laughing throughout the tour. He even amazed us with a fun magic trick, which was such a unique touch! Our guide Raphael welcomed us very kindly and provided us with a wealth of knowledge about the culture/religion, the sights, and the growth of bamboo throughout the tour. He also gave us great recommendations for local dishes and snacks along the way. There was also plenty of time to collect stamps :) The stop at the tea house with various types of tea to try was also great. Thank you very much for the informative morning with great views over Kyoto.

This was a great sample of Kyoto and a great way to get out of the city. Our multigenerational family of 10 enjoyed learning about the history of the places we visited, having some leisure in addition to the guided parts, and Tom, our guide, was incredibly patient, kind, and spoke terrific English! Highly recommend this tour, especially with Tom. Be advised the monkey park, which was so neat to see, is about a 15-20 minute walk up a steep hill. However, if monkeys aren’t your thing, the views alone are worthwhile.

We got lucky the bamboo forest was super empty, but we were through there and the temple park pretty fast. In the Zen Garden we spend a litte more time. Raphael was a super informative guide with great English. He also took really nice pictures of us and was overall fun to be around. We ended up being a small group of four people. The organisation and visit of the monkey park were really good. Our guide Raphael also gave us great recommendations for the rest of the day and where the food was good. Definitely recommended for it's price.
We had a great time in the bamboo forest and the monkey park. The tour guide (Matheus) was patient and friendly. My husband has a bad back and had to stop frequently. It was a very rainy day to boot. The monkey park was worth climbing for!

Our family of 10 had a great visit with Tom. He spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable about the area and Japan’s history, and was good to make sure everyone was engaged and could keep up. It was the right amount of time in each place with a nice break along the way. The hike to the monkeys was steep, but worthwhile for us. I highly recommend Tom and this tour for a taste of Kyoto history.

Tom was very friendly and competent. In particular, the language skills were excellent. He provided a lot of information about the places and also answered additional questions in detail. He tailored the tour very individually to the group and allowed sufficient time when the group required it.
I did the option B tour (Arashimaya sights and ending with sake tasting at Tanzan sake brewery in Kameoka) today, and I had a great time with Tom! Initially I was a bit bummed out that it was raining incessantly today, but Tom’s positive attitude and enthusiasm more than made up for the rain! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this walking tour.
