We had a wonderful guided tour of Wawel in Kraków, and Alexandra made the experience truly memorable. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared a wealth of historical information in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. Her English was excellent, which made the tour enjoyable and accessible throughout. Reachable in a few minutes walk from the city center. Beautiful everything, from the walls, the towers, the entrance, the vast square in front of the entrance, the large courtyard. Former residence of the Polish kings, recently restored, the interior is rich in furniture and works of art. The audio guide in Italian takes you step by step and is exhaustive.

A lot of details but sprinkled with humorous stories which kept interested up for the whole visit. The guide also spoke impeccable English.

Background: We only visited the Royal Private Rooms for 5 Euro each, hoping to find something interesting inside. Unfortunately, the castle, for what we visited, did not leave me at all satisfied. Empty rooms, guides available are only in Polish or English, there are only paintings, which for those who are not an art expert little is understood. Only 1 room has a bed (dates back to 1939) and long queue to enter. Inside, we queued for another 30 minutes in a crowded room without even an open window or air conditioning to see only 3 paintings by a not even famous painter. It will be that we Italians are used to it well, but despite this and the price I still do not recommend visiting this part of the castle. My family and I are passionate about this kind of thing and have visited countless royal palaces and this definitely ranks at the bottom.

We booked this tour at the last minute but were pleasantly surprised at the responsiveness of the company. We were picked up on time by our guide, Kuba, and he provided many insights into Polish history as well as the Wawel Castle and nearby Cathedral. Kuba was friendly, informative and very flexible to meet our needs. My wife and I would highly recommend this company.
