Commencez votre visite avec un pick-up à Bosacka 18. Ensuite, détendez-vous en 1,5 heure de route à Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Notre visite commence à Monowitz, où le régime nazi a transformé la vie humaine en ressource. Vous verrez les vestiges du camp où des milliers de prisonniers, dont le prix Nobel Elie Wiesel, ont enduré des conditions inimaginables alors qu'ils travaillaient pour la machine de guerre Allemande.
En nous dirigeant vers les camps principaux, nous traversons la ville d'Oświęcim. Cela constitue un moment crucial de réflexion sur l'histoire juive de la ville avant la guerre et sur la façon dont la population locale vivait dans l'ombre immédiate des camps.
Nous explorons le périmètre du "Stammlager" (Auschwitz I). Debout près des clôtures d'origine, vous verrez le cœur administratif du complexe. Un arrêt clé est la maison de Rudolf Höss, le commandant du camp. Voir où il vivait une vie de famille "normale" à quelques mètres des cheminées du crématorium offre un regard profond sur la "banalité du mal".
Ensuite, nous visitons l'authentique quai ferroviaire situé entre les camps. C'est là que la plupart des trains de transport sont arrivés jusqu'en 1944. C'est un site puissant et calme où la « sélection » de milliers de personnes a eu lieu – un endroit souvent manqué par les visites de musées standard.
Auschwitz II-Birkenau (Exploration Extérieure) : Vous serez témoin de l'ampleur écrasante du plus grand camp d'extermination. Depuis le périmètre et l'emblématique "Porte de la Mort", votre Guide vous expliquera la disposition des ruines des chambres à gaz et les conditions de vie des prisonniers.
Terminez votre visite et retournez à Cracovie au point de départ, en voyant divers points de repère sur le chemin. Retournez dans le centre de Cracovie et terminez par un dépôt en ville.

I booked this as a last-minute tour. That being said, what you get to see is extremely limited. If everything is already booked, then this would be your alternative. Other than that, I would recommend booking another tour because this one leaves you feeling like you showed up to see Auschwitz but got turned away at the door.
We had the best experience on our tour .. from start to finish .. our guide Damien was amazing .. he was full of knowledge and was passionate about the whole tour .. he didnt hesitate to respond to any questions in fact encouraged us to ask so we weren't left with any unanswered questions. I loved the fact it was headsets and you could just brows around the particular room we were in and still listen to all the information Damien was giving us .. the groups were kept 2 a small group and everything was really well organised. I wasnt the most knowledgeable about the the whole thing but came away full of knowledge and have since watched a few films since been back recommended by damien and it makes u watch the film with a whole different outlook once you have visited.. highly recommend if visiting krakow

Amazing experience. Our guide Damien was amazing and knowledgeable. Although we didn't get to go into most of the places, seeing it and learning about it was what I came for. And the group was small so it felt personal and friendly.

The tour was excellent and very well priced. Our tour guide Damian was an excellent tour guide and this something everyone should visit. It was a very emotional experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to enter the concentration camps and the museum due to a last-minute cancellation by another provider, but Damian, our guide, was incredibly good at explaining all the history from outside, giving us very personalized attention thanks to the small group size, and he saved us from missing Auschwitz during our visit to Kraków.
