Les filets de pêche chinois (Cheena vala) sont un type de filet de levage stationnaire en Inde. Ce sont des filets de pêche qui sont des installations terrestres fixes pour la pêche. Bien qu'ils soient communément appelés filets de pêche chinois en Inde, le nom plus formel de ces filets est filets élévateurs à terre. D'énormes engins mécaniques retiennent des filets horizontaux de 20 m ou plus de largeur. Cochin Tirumala Devaswom, également appelé Gosripuram est la plus grande et la plus importante institution socioreligieuse des brahmanes Gowda Saraswat du Kerala, en Inde. Le temple est situé à Cherlai au cœur de la ville de Mattancherry dans la région de Cochin qui est l'une des premières colonies de GSB au Kerala. Le temple a été créé dans la dernière moitié du XVIe siècle. L'histoire des OGM au Kerala est entremêlée à celle de ce temple et de son idole Venkateswara.

Le palais de Mattancherry est un palais portugais populairement connu sous le nom de palais néerlandais, à Mattancherry, dans l'État indien du Kerala qui présente des peintures murales du Kerala représentant des portraits et des expositions des Rajas de Kochi. Le palais a été inscrit sur la liste provisoire du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
La synagogue Paradesi est la plus ancienne synagogue en activité du Commonwealth des Nations, située à Kochi, dans le Kerala, en Inde du Sud. Construite en 1568, elle est l'une des sept synagogues du peuple Malabar Yehudan ou Yehudan Mappila ou communauté juive Cochin du royaume de Cochin.
