Katherine Outback Experience est détenue et exploitée par plusieurs vainqueurs de Golden Guitar et cavalier extraordinaire Tom Curtain. Le spectacle de l'outback offre une fenêtre unique sur la vie sur la terre dans l'outback australien. Il est bien réel avec des démonstrations de démarrage de chevaux et de chiens de travail entrelacés de musique australienne et de contes humoristiques de brousse. Il y a de la poussière et du chaos, et les choses ne se passent pas toujours comme prévu, mais cela fait partie de la beauté du vrai Outback. Katherine Outback Experience a remporté la meilleure attraction touristique NT en 2018 et 2019, le prix de la meilleure expérience visiteur NT en 2018 bronze aux National Tourism Awards 2019. Tom a sorti son quatrième album en novembre 2019 qui a fait ses débuts au n ° 1 sur les iTunes Country Music Charts d'Australie. Itinéraire
L'équipe propose une introduction sur notre histoire, notre histoire et notre spectacle. Un jeune cheval est amené dans l'arène et l'équipe se met au travail pour entraîner le cheval en direct devant le public, démontrant ainsi l'art du départ du cheval. Nous expliquons la psychologie entre l'homme et le cheval, montrant comment nous construisons la confiance. Si le cheval est prêt à progresser, nous le sellons et essayons de le monter, souvent pour la première fois. Aucun cheval n'est utilisé plus de trois fois dans le spectacle. Nous passons ensuite à nos chevaux les plus avancés, démontrant ce qui peut être réalisé avec un entraînement continu et de la patience. Les invités sont ensuite dirigés vers notre grande arène où nous faisons sortir notre équipe de formidables chiens de travail. Nous présentons chaque chien avant de montrer comment nous les entraînons à travailler en équipe. Le spectacle n'est jamais complet sans certaines des chansons originales de Tom, interprétées depuis la selle, guitare à la main.

Interesting to understand about how horse handling is done when a young horse starts out. Watching the dogs train to assist in musters also interesting. Suitable activity for disabled walker. Cool water provided during show with an ice block to follow. I hoped we would have some country music as part of the live entry but this did not occur. Easy parking for larger vehicles. Maybe take a cushion to sit on as seats are a bit hard after a while.
We had a thoroughly lovely morning at the Outback Spectacular- the content was amazing, the interactions and training that Tom and Annabelle and Staff put in is incredible! We absolutely loved it! The iced facecloths,cold water and ice blocks at different intervals was a beautiful personal touch and kept us feeling refreshed and comfortable!

It was very enjoyable to listen to a little of the role of horsemanship and dog training in the outback. The experience was relaxing lighthearted and musical. Tom and his crew gave us all an informative show and were super friendly and accommodating.The providing the crowd with cool towels and ice blocks was a nice touch. It is also pleasure to support a worthy cause like Dolly’s Dream.
Perfect for all ages. Kids and adults. 5 stars. We are 50 and took my parents. We have just done the lap and this was by far one of the best things we have done

We had a great time. Enjoyed getting up close and personal with the animals and watching Tom and Jake working with the horses and dogs in the arena. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience, well worth the time.. Tom has a lovely voice, loved the Roper River song.. family immersive, both the horses and dogs are great to see and hear how it’s all done..
