Les grottes de Kanheri sont un groupe de grottes et de monuments taillés dans la roche taillés dans un affleurement massif de basalte dans les forêts du parc national de Sanjay Gandhi, sur l'île de Salsette dans la banlieue ouest de Mumbai, en Inde. The Kanheri Caves tour was lovely. My driver Dinesh and tour guide Ravi were very kinda ND shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of the site and Mumbai. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. A must see destination when visiting Mumbai

I highly recommend this tour with Ravi! He was so knowledgeable and passionate, answered all my questions and walked us through at a good pace to get to truly experience it all. I learned so much, and enjoyed the beauty of the caves and the views out over the park. Rovi and Lucas were great. They together made the drive to the site smooth and interesting. Rovi did a great job explaining the history of the caves. The caves weren’t super crowded and we really enjoyed being able to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend!

I took the tour on a Sunday morning in Monsoon with a charming and very knowledgeable guide called Kavitha. Kavitha gave an excellent explanation of the history of the caves and was able to answer all my questions. Whilst there were a lot of visitors it was wonderful to find an oasis of nature in Mumbai.
