Nous serpenterons à travers le banquetón animé du marché, ou zone de plats préparés, dégustation de tacos, aguas frescas et tamales. We had such a wonderful time with Yimnah, truly the highlight of our trip. It was the most immersed I felt over the course of our stay in Mexico City. The food was great and the vendors were so kind. I don’t think we could have experienced something like that without this tour.
We did a guided tour of La Merced with Yimnah, who was wonderful, kind, and fun. She knew so much about the history of the place and Mexico City more broadly. We made plenty of stops to try delicious food throughout the market. Highly recommend booking with her.
This was a fantastic tour to go somewhere in Mexico City that I never would’ve gone on my own, and to get some delicious local eats. Our guide Yimmeh was really knowledgeable and fun, bringing depth to the experience by giving some social, cultural, and historic context while we were eating.
We did the tour through La Merced with Nico and it was wonderful. Nico turned a bustling, noisy, chaotic environment into a welcoming and friendly space. Along the way we sampled incredible tacos, tamales, tortas, aqua fresca and left with a bag of delicious candies. Nico also weaved in a lot of fascinating history and culture. Altogether a great and unforgettable experience

The experience was certainly worth what I paid. I booked this tour through Viator so the process was seamless for me. Initially I was overwhelmed by all the activity but the tour guide Clara was very adept at moving through the market. There was so much to see and I was amazed at the sheer variety of things available. The market was quite crowded and it requires you to pay attention to the people around you; also mind your step as the floor can be uneven in spots. One last thing, come with an appetite as Clara takes you to many tasty spots.
