Guide service requested I wait outside on the street then arrived an hour and ten minutes late. They stated traffic issue but why would you ever request a client to wait in the street?

We would also like to clarify that our guide's delay was due to a sporting event that took place in Cuenca on Saturday morning, which caused widespread disruption throughout the city. This is not an excuse; a member of our team informed you via WhatsApp that the guide would be late. However, we understand that your frustration stemmed from having to wait outside for the guide. We ask that those not staying in hotels please wait outside the buildings, as we cannot inquire about passengers since this is not a hotel. And finally, as a token of our apologies, we asked the guide to take you to an additional archaeological site not included in the regular tour, since you mentioned your interest in archaeology. We had the best time on our private tour to Ingapirca and the city of Cuenca with Polylepis Tours! Diego was amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly. His English was perfect and he is easy to understand. We only had one full day in Cuenca and he was the perfect guide to make us feel like we saw everything we HAD to see in one day but made us want to stay longer to see even more. If we could only spend one day again, we would spend it with Diego!

We have had a great walk through Biblen and Ingapirca in Ecuador and the guide Edy has been very knowledgeable about all the history and culture of the areas visited! Diego was a great tour guide who was super knowledgeable about the history of Cuenca and Ingapirca! He also knew a lot about Ecuador in general, and was able to give insights on native plants, etc. Very fun and interesting!

The tour allowed us to get a sense of old Cuenca and hit highlights Diego personalized it for us with extra stops like going into an art studio and stopped so I could take photos of the soil. He was informative and generous of spirit. He recommended a specific shop that I wanted to visit and dropped us near it. I was a little disappointed we didn’t visit the hat factory, but the day was wonderful regardless He’s an outstanding and considerate driver as well and was excited to share his knowledge with us at all of the places we visited.

We toured Inga Pirca and the city of Cuenca with our tour guide Eddie. He was a treasure trove of information, he had dates and facts memorized perfectly. He was so knowledgeable on facts about the Incas and many other civilizations of the past. He spoke perfect English which was great because our Spanish isn't so good. You could tell Eddie was passionate about the history of Ecuador and beyond. He is the best tour guide we have ever had!
