Āina Tours is a local owned company that provides you with the utmost experience around the island. 'Āina was punctual with pickup, drop off, all stops allowing us just enough time to explore, and on schedule! Snorkel gear was also provided for the snorkeling part of the tour! Avoided traffic for the most part and most importantly avoided crowds! ‘Āina was very kind beyond the tour and even recommended some areas as we were staying at the North Shore for a few days after that. You could tell the passion behind his guidance, talking about the culture and what it means to him as a native Hawaiian, it all circled back to protecting this land that they live on so they can continue their life long journey out here. The beauty of the island and their people is hard to beat, the tour was great with its scenic stops and all, but it isn’t made possible without the people. Mahalo for allowing us on your island! My wife and I truly enjoyed our day trip with our driver and guide, Koa. Being a native born Hawaiian he provided us with a true insight and understanding of all the locations we went around the island.

Highly recommend AINA Tours! Everything was perfectly organized and ran on time. The tour was fun, straight to the point, and never felt rushed or overloaded with information,it honestly felt like a private tour. I also loved the early start, which meant we visited places before the crowds, and the tour ended early enough to enjoy the rest of the day. A great experience!

Really great experience. If you want to hit a bunch of spots all in one day, book this tour! The tour starts early around 6:30am, but the advantage is that the first 3-4 spots are completely empty as the drones of tourists haven't arrived yet. Be aware that the included breakfast comes after visiting 3 beautiful scenic spots - so if you'll get hungry and can't wait, I recommend bringing a snack. Also, make sure you bring cash! The lunch shrimp spot takes cash only - my partner and I were banking on using contactless payment, but since your order is taken beforehand so the food is ready by the time you get there, it is $20 cash per person. I really liked how with this tour, the admission fee to the temple is included. The temple is not large, but beautiful. The tropical farm and Dole Plantation really were just to buy souvenirs with the time allowed, but definitely get a dole whip from Dole Plantation. During our experience, we did not see any sea turtles at Sunset Beach, but had a great swim. There is a bathroom and shower facility to help clean off before hopping back onto the bus. In summary, our driver and guide Koa was amazing, with him brimming with local knowledge. Bring cash, be on time for pickups, and you'll have a great time!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aina Tours! We just had our tour with him on 07/06/26. Aina is an amazing guide and knew what he was talking about and we learned so much about Hawaii from him. He also took his time and did not rush the tour at all. Loved this tour! If you visit Oahu, Aina Tours is a MUST!!!

This was, without a doubt, the best tour I've ever been on! It was my second time visiting Oahu, but my boyfriend's first, and this ended up being the highlight of our entire trip. Even though I'd been to the island before, Justin shared so much about Hawaiian history, culture, and the significance of each place we visited that I learned a ton. You can tell he's genuinely passionate about what he does, and that made the experience so much more meaningful. He picked us up from our hotel right on time, and from the moment we got on the shuttle, he made everyone feel welcome. One of our favorite parts was getting to see sea turtles in the wild and trying delicious local food from Hawaiian vendors that we probably never would have found on our own. Throughout the day, Justin taught us Hawaiian words and their meanings, shared authentic stories, and explained the cultural importance behind many of the places we stopped. It never felt like someone was just reading from a script, it felt like we were learning from someone who truly loves and respects the island. The entire day was incredibly well organized, relaxing, and fun. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Oahu and Hawaiian culture than we had before. Our Excellent day started with convenient pick-up at our hotel. The van was comfortable. Aina shared interesting facts about the areas we drove through, local history, culture, and his experiences growing up on the island. Aina’s tour was well organized - he allowed enough time for enjoying the sites we never felt rushed. I highly recommend Aina Tours - suggest booking directly.

I think most of us will agree as visitors to a new place we may have unwittingly fallen into tour traps where the guides are not from that place and what they spew are wither hearsay or taken from the internet. Talk about actual/real imposter syndrome. But this full day tour I got on with Aina Tours was the complete opposite of that. With Koa being our guide, his pride in being Hawaiian was very much evident. His pride in his culture and his fierce protectiveness of maintaining what is truly indigenous and endemic to Hawaii underscored and made real to me what otherwise would have been left unsaid just simply because it was uncomfortable to approach. While beautiful sights were presented to us constantly at various stops and while we traversed seemingly endless scenic sights, never have I learned so much about plants or animals on a tour, and how our existence as tourists, the past yet prevailing effects of American colonialism and the management stance of community/state/national leaders can have direct consequences. While my goal was to relax and have a good time, in this day and age it is impossible to ignore the fact that we all including us tourists have a responsibility to keep the things that we truly love about Hawaii stay and prosper in Hawaii - Let’s give some Aloha back to the people who live Aloha.
