Jeremy gave an excellent tour of the British and American landing beaches and American cemetery at 4pm for Taps and lowering of the flag. We wrapped up our tour with a cider tasting. Highly recommend Jeremy. He added information about the Normandy region and history.
Our guide was Jeremy, he was very knowledgeable and personable. We had a small group of Canadians and he really made sure we saw all the history.
Jeremy was a great tour guide. Recommended a couple of additional stops when we had time. Was knowledgeable and did well presenting information.
David was an exceptional guide who made our experience truly memorable. His way of narrating history kept us engaged from start to finish, bringing each story to life with genuine passion and knowledge. He clearly has the heart of a historian, with an impressive ability to explain details in an interesting and understandable way. What stood out most was how he went the extra mile for us, going out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, even when it meant more effort on his part. I couldn’t recommend David enough — he’s a guide who truly cares.
An amazing day with a brilliant guide Emmanuel. He was so informative and great with my children 12 and 9. He was engaging with them and provided us with so much information. For us the British section (Mulberry harbour) and the D Day museum were highlights. The tour was a great way to see everything as without it my husband and I agreed we would have been very lost if we had hired a car and toured on our own. I would happily book another tour with this company. From my pre booking questions to the tour itself the staff were very helpful.
It’s really worth it; with the extensive information of our guide Jeremy , the visits were full of emotions.
A lot of information presented today by our tour guide, Jeremiah. I am amazed by the size of each of these beaches. Each beach was in 3-4 sectors so every division had different experiences. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We had a wonderful time on our tour around many of the D-Day sites. Our guide Jérémy was knowledgeable and kind. We appreciate the way he made the effort to engage with and include our children throughout the day. Merci beaucoup!
The tour company was having a very bad day! What was supposed to be a full day tour ended up being two half day tours and we wasted a lot of time because of that! If this is normally two half day tours, it should have been sold that way. There were four of us in the morning... two Americans and two British. We went to another hotel to pick up others who never showed up. That wasted half an hour. In the late morning our guide told us he was a substitute because the scheduled guide didn't show up. He could only work half a day, so we had to go back to Bayeux. After a lunch break, we had a new guide who told us we were picking up more people. We went back looking for the same folks who stood us up in the morning. Another 20 minutes wasted! So, by the time we got going again we had probably wasted a total of 1-1/2 to 2 hours out of our day. At our first afternoon stop, our morning guide showed up to drop off two more people who were without a group/guide. Because of all this, our time at different stops in the afternoon was cut short. We only got about an hour at the American Cemetery because we were kicked out as they were closing. This was not nearly enough time to walk and see the visitors center. I was very disappointed! We had taken tours with this same company on the previous two days and were very pleased with both of them. Our guides this day probably did the best they could under the circumstances. Though I had a hard time getting any answers out of our afternoon guide. I would ask a question, and the answer would be Yes or OK. Our treatment was not what I expected from a top-rated tour company!
Dear Susan, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disruptions you experienced during your tour. One of our scheduled guides fell ill unexpectedly that morning, and rather than cancel the tour, we did our best to keep it running by coordinating with two different guides. Unfortunately, this caused delays and impacted your experience — for that, we’re truly sorry. We understand how valuable your time is, and we regret the missed opportunities at key sites. Your feedback is important and will help us improve how we manage these rare situations in the future. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your previous tours with us, and we hope you’ll give us another chance to provide the high-quality experience you expect. Warm regards, NST TEAM
We did an all day small group tour of both UK and US beaches together with museums, gun emplacements, cemeteries and sites of major battles. Loved the Arromanche Mulberry Harbour exhibit. Our guides Gwen and Louis from Normandy Sightseeing Tours were really knowledgeable and guided us really well.
