Des paysages à couper le souffle, des monuments historiques, des lochs célèbres, des châteaux, des jardins et des distilleries. Cette visite vous donnera une véritable expérience écossaise des Highlands. N'oubliez pas de prendre votre appareil photo… Vous ne savez pas ce qu'est un Sassannach, venez le découvrir :) Go Highlands n'accueille que de petits groupes de 7 personnes maximum lors de nos circuits, ce qui signifie que vous obtenez toujours la meilleure expérience absolue.

Des pierres qui datent d'environ 4000 ans (oui 4000) qui sont plus anciennes que les pyramides ... Touchez la plus grosse ... c'est ce que Claire a fait! Je te défie :)
C'est là que la première série se termine … la bataille de Culloden, voyez la petite Claire se transformer en un petit hôpital de fortune, puis les gars l'utilisent pour se cacher. Un lieu solennel, la dernière bataille livrée entre Écossais, Clans, Anglais et même certains Irlandais
Ici, vous aurez également une vue imprenable sur le Loch Ness et aurez la chance de descendre sur ses rives dans l’espoir de voir le «cheval d’eau» qui a tellement enchanté Claire Randall (ou Nessie, comme elle est mieux connue dans ces régions!)
À cet arrêt, nous prendrons le temps de goûter à ce gin primé. Tirant son nom de la ligne de faille qui divise les Highlands, notre distillerie utilise des ingrédients naturels et locaux pour vous donner un avant-goût de notre environnement majestueux. Great Glen est à la fois la plus récente et, fièrement, la plus petite distillerie artisanale d'Écosse. Exploitant les éléments d'un lieu sauvage, ce gin doux et terreux est une lettre d'amour à la nature.
Le château d'Urquhart est probablement l'un des châteaux les plus photographiés d'Écosse. avec ou sans le monstre).
Le beau village de Beauly était l'endroit où Claire et Jamie se dirigeaient au début de la première saison. Le Prieuré de Beauly était une communauté monastique de Valliscaulian située à "Insula de Achenbady", aujourd'hui Beauly, Inverness-shire. Il a probablement été fondé vers 1230. On ne sait pas avec certitude qui était le fondateur, différentes sources donnant Alexandre II d'Écosse ou Jean Byset.

George was great fun! Knowledgeable and entertaining! Great insider info, best the coaches to main attractions. Accommodated late cruise ship arrival. Took input from passengers. Prioritize remaining time well. Highly recommend. Max- 6 passengers on our mini bus.

Our tour guide, Sarah, picked us up & dropped us off at cruse port. She did an outstanding job & was extremely knowledgeable. It is a must do if in the area.
We loved this tour! Although it was a cold, rainy June day, it let us know how the locals feel there. Saw beautiful places, and learned a lot from our knowledgeable tour guide George, who also has a good sense of humor. I would hands down recommend it to anyone, and would take the tour again if traveling with a friend.
We spent a wonderful day in Inverness with Sarah! She was extremely knowledgeable with her tour and the history or legends that went with each site - nice being with a local! She picked us up at the port and got us back in plenty of time. She had a great personality and this made for us to have a wonderful day. Definitely recommend her and Go Highlands tours.
Book this tour. Now. Full stop. George is like an old Scottish friend that you wanna hang out with, drink whiskey & learn all you can about his homeland Inverness & all things Scottish whilst teasing him about being known everywhere you go. What was to be a 4 person trip became a private tour w/ my sister and I, George & his wee dog, Leo. We overstayed at Clava Cairns & Culloden learning all we could; picking George’s endless depths of knowledge & literally getting wrapped up in a kilt. Then on to Great Glen Distillery for-hands down-the best gin I’ve ever had. A bite of soup & onward to Urquhart Castle & more silly questions for my new best friend, George. Then true disappointment when the tour was closing out because he’s a gem & we didn’t want to stop chatting. Nor did we want to say bye to Leo. Grand, grand time. Do this tour. Get George. He’s a wealth of knowledge & a helluva guy, plus the kilt is 👌🏽 We learned more in 6 hrs than I’ve ever learned about Scotland in my life. So hit book. Now. You’ll see what I mean. Thanks, George! Those crazy sisters from Maine.
George was a fantastic guide; had a great, dry humor and was very informative. He made suggestions about a possible change to our itinerary and let our small group decide which option we preferred. I would happily book with him again if returning to the Inverness area.
George was a joy to travel with. He has so much knowledge and passion, and it really made the day special, so much so that as we walked back to the ship with the other group who was on the excursion, we were all talking about coming back to the Highlands and booking a longer tour with his company. This tour was perfect as a shore excursion with no concerns about timing, and nimble response to the weather. We really loved our experience and couldn't recommend it enough.
Sarah was very informative about all the areas that we visited. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is or is not an Outlander fan.
This was a great tour. Our guide, George, made the day fun. The small size of the group helped make the tour much more personal than the typical excursion. In addition to expanding on the Outlander connection to the sites we visited, he also provided historical context from the perspective of someone who grew up in the area and knows it well. We learned a lot about Scottish history, and George left us wanting to come back. We were lucky to have great weather. The visit to Urquhart Castle was amazing, with a breathtaking view of Loch Ness. I highly recommend!
