Oh Jamie, oh Jamie, notre bonnie écossais.

Great tour, saw a lot but it wasn't overwhelming in the slightest. Very informative and awesome guide, Lorraine!!
Excellent Tour Guide. Avril really knows her stuff. We learned so much and enjoyed our day with her.
Many thanks for taking the time to review, yes there are days I think I know too much stuff... just don't ask what I did last week as I can't remember lol. x
Had an amazing day. I driver spent the whole trip telling us stories and pointing out interesting places. We enjoyed every stop. It was easy to find them when walking off our ship. Easy to get in and out of the vans. Everything just flowed so easy, they were just organized so well. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to tour Scotland.
Great review and thanks so much for choosing to spend your day with us. Yes we make it very easy to find us!! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise x
This is a wonderful and interesting tour of this region of Scotland. If you travel Europe, you have seen your fair share of castles. Cowder Castle is different in that it is still being lived in and that fact gives it a very unique vibe. You walk through and get a feeling of authenticity that is much different than the “staged” feel you get from most others. The Cairns and the associated mysticism is also quite interesting. We actually saw some observers doing ritual singing and chanting as we toured. In addition, the “Coos” are not to be missed. Last, but certainly not least, our tour guide Loraine did a fantastic job!
Many thanks for your review, I would be lost without Lorraine and the work she does. Hope you visit again x
Great experience Cawdor Castle was so beautiful much more than I was expecting. The stones, battlefield and the cute highland cows were amazing. Well organized, didn’t feel rushed, the guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend Avril’s small group tour anytime. Fantastic day!
Thank you my lovely! Glad you enjoyed the day with us. Hope we meet again x
We saw a number of sights and Avril was helpful and informative. Did a great job of moving things along to make the best use of our time.
Thank you for this review, yes we try and pack as much as we can in on your day as you are only here for a small snapshot of the highlands. Thank you for choosing to spend your day with us x
Loved this tour through the Scottish Highlands with Avril. She took us to visit the beautiful Cawdor castle, Clava Cairns and Highland Cows. Great day with a great tour guide.
Hi Susan, thanks for your review and pleased you have a great day with us x
An excellent experience! Greatly enjoyed the Cairns, Cawdor, Culloden and the trip around Loch Ness and across the Black Isle. Packed a lot into seven hours! Lorraine was a great driver/guide; knowledgeable, friendly, great sense of humour. A local who obviously loves her home. Group size was great (8 of us) and the pace of the tour was good. Reasonable price for an enjoyable day, even the weather cooperated.
Thank you for this review, yes we have special privileges that sort the weather for most days while you visit lol. x
Lorraine was fabulous, she was a most exceptional guide and driver from her extensive knowledge as she is from here and her knowledge of the roads in case bridge closed to her hospitality! She really cares that you see all you want to see and all is good! I loved the Cairns and getting the photo op and hearing the stories and also what happens there now. The Cawdor Castle and its history is something to see. The Gardens are beautiful. And a lovely Woolen shop just outside and plenty of rest rooms. The Culloden Battlefield was great to see and to know the real story. We just chose to do the Battlefield and not the museum there. The farm stop to see the Highland cows was perfect! They are so cute and Lorraine got their food so they came right to you! And a cute little shop there also! And a restroom break at the Old School had a wonderful shopping opportunity. Loch Ness was beautiful even though we had seen before and no Nessie sighting! And seeing the mountain in bloom with Heather coming back was an added treat for me! Interesting she also told me about our clan Campbell!
Many thanks for this review, Lorraine is like an encyclopaedia with her knowledge. Glad you have a great day with her x
Lorain was so knowledgeable and made sure everyone had chances for questions. Which can be tough with groups who are not all together. Between history and clan information I felt like I had learned much about Scotland
Thank you for this review, we love the fact that small groups make it more personal for your trip out with us x
