Incroyable visite de Pompéi

Schedule private tour. Tour guide never showed up. Viator was of limited support as they could not reach their own guides. Had to purchase tickets and do our our own.

Stefano was a great guide, taking us through Herculaneum and Pompeii. It was great to see the difference when I was last here in 2011 and see the current work in progress.

Brilliant day with Stefano visiting Herculaneum and Pompeii. The day was planned to enable us to have Herculaneum almost to ourselves and then visit Pompeii from a quieter entrance. And his passion, warmth and knowledge really brought the history and day to day life in both, to life.

Visiting Pompeii with Stefano was like traveling through time. His true strength is not only his deep historical knowledge, but the ability to transmit it with passion: for a few hours he allowed us to observe the beauties of the excavations through his expert eyes, transforming the ruins into living stories. An excellent guide who was able to answer all our curiosity by revealing details that alone we would not have noticed. Absolutely recommended.

What a great day! Pompeii is a fantastic archaeological site by itself but having Stefano as our guide took the experience to new heights! It was nothing short of a-ma-zing. Stefano managed to steer through the crowds so that we almost didn’t realize we were in a very crowded place! He was telling us about Pompeii in a captivating way… We didn’t realize the hours flew by. As if we were there seeing the ruins with a very knowledgeable friend… It was the best day of our Naples vacation. Thanks Stefano!!!

Stefano is an excellent guide. Very polite, helpful and has a very good knowledge of Pompeii. We had a 4 hours walking tour, just enough to see most of the highlights 😉 Highly recommended!

I booked the visit to the archaeological site of Pompeii as a birthday present for my dad and Stefano was very helpful in helping me with the organization and customization of the tour. As a guide he was perfectly able to give us an image of what life in Pompeii might have been like in ancient times, willingly answering our questions. The tour was a pleasant walk to discover the secrets of the Roman city, without the typical rush of group tours. At the end, we were also advised on how to continue the visit to Pompeii independently. If you want to really know the site and the historical context, trust Stefano without a doubt!

We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids at different ages (8-14) and had an absolutely amazing tour of Pompeii with Stefano! I have to say this was the best tour ever! Stefano is so knowledgeable and he made it so much fun. The kids were glued to his descriptions and explanations and stories! Can highly highly recommend a tour with Stefano or his wife!
