Ice fishing experience with Backpacker Helsinki Tour

Sur le lac Bodom, le plus grand dans la région d'Helsinki, situé à seulement 25 minutes d'Helsinki centre, je vous convie à une initiation de pêche sur glace à l'aide du Pilkki, la canne à pêche Nordique ! Une fois arrivés sur place nous marcherons sur le lac afin de trouver l'endroit idéal où il y a le plus de chance de pêcher du poisson. Je vous expliquerai ensuite comment faire un trou dans la glace et comment utiliser le pilkki. Après c'est à vous de jouer ! Vous serez prêt pour pêcher plein de poissons ! A la fin, dans un Laavu, le refuge traditionnel, je ferai un feu pour pouvoir griller les makkara, les saucisses traditionnelles. Il existe aussi une option pour végétariens. Je vous servirai également un délicieux glögi ainsi que des piparri, des biscuits traditionnels.

Bathrooms limited. Didn’t catch any fish but the experience was wonderful. Fireside Finnish sausage was tasty. Not a big licorice fan but our guide had some for us to try and it was surprisingly tasty.
We can't express our gratitude for David's kindness and knowledge of ice fishing 🎣 He made our experience memorable and fun. And we actually caught a fish 🐟 Highly recommend his tour.
Absolutely worthwhile experience! Super friendly guide, all equipment provided plus food to prepare over a fire, and home made Glögi. Had a lovely time, great memory!

Organized and friendly ice fishing tour. Learned to fish and enjoyed the frozen lake and Finnish sausage. It was a wonderful way to experience Finland's winter. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time. Ice fishing was super fun although we didn’t catch anything we still enjoyed the experience. It was great to do something so unique. Afterwards David cooked us some sausages and some other treats which were super scrummy. Would 100% go again. The lake where we went was also beautiful and for us it was amazing to be stood on a frozen lake.
