Prise en charge devant la porte principale de Phu My Port
Le Palais de l'Indépendance était la base du général vietnamien Ngo Dinh Diem jusqu'à sa mort en 1963. Il a fait son nom dans l'histoire mondiale en 1975. Un char appartenant à l'armée nord-vietnamienne s'est écrasé par sa porte principale, mettant fin à la guerre du Vietnam. Aujourd'hui, c'est une visite incontournable pour les touristes à Ho Chi Minh-Ville. Le palais est comme une capsule temporelle gelée en 1975. Vous pouvez voir deux des chars d'origine utilisés pour la capture du palais garé dans le parc. Le Palais de l'Indépendance était le domicile et le lieu de travail du gouverneur français de Cochinchine. Il possède des jardins luxuriants, des salles secrètes, des meubles anciens et un bunker de commandement. Il est toujours utilisé pour accueillir des occasions importantes à Ho Chi Minh, y compris les sommets de l'APEC.
La cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saïgon, construite à la fin des années 1880 par des colons français, est l'un des rares bastions du catholicisme dans le Vietnam largement bouddhiste. Situé sur la place de Paris, le nom de Notre-Dame a été donné après l'installation de la statue 'Peaceful Notre Dame' en 1959. En 1962, le Vatican a conféré le statut de cathédrale en tant que basilique et lui a donné le nom officiel de Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica . Mesurant près de 60 mètres de hauteur, les caractéristiques néo-romanes distinctives de la cathédrale comprennent la façade en briques rouges (importées de Marseille), des vitraux, deux clochers contenant six cloches en bronze qui sonnent encore à ce jour, et un cadre paisible cadre de jardin au milieu du centre-ville de Ho Chi Minh City District 1.
Le bureau de poste central à Ho Chi Minh est un vestige magnifiquement préservé de l'époque coloniale française et peut-être le plus grand bureau de poste de toute l'Asie du Sud-Est. Situés à côté de la cathédrale Notre-Dame, les deux sites culturels peuvent être visités ensemble et offrent aux visiteurs une chance d'imaginer la vie au Vietnam à l'époque de l'Empire indochinois. Le bâtiment a été conçu par Alfred Foulhoux et présente des fenêtres cintrées et des volets en bois, comme il l'aurait fait à son apogée à la fin du XIXe siècle.
Le Musée des vestiges de la guerre à Hô Chi Minh-Ville a ouvert ses portes au public en 1975. Autrefois connu sous le nom de «Musée des crimes de guerre américains», il est un rappel choquant de la longue et brutale guerre du Vietnam. Des photographies graphiques et du matériel militaire américain sont exposés. Il y a un hélicoptère avec des lance-roquettes, un char, un avion de chasse, un avion d'attaque monoplace. Vous pouvez également voir une bombe conventionnelle qui pèse 6 800 kg. Les troupes américaines avaient utilisé ces armes contre les Vietnamiens entre 1945 et 1975.
Cholon de Ho Chi Minh-Ville est le plus grand quartier chinois du Vietnam avec des racines remontant à 1778; c'est aussi un lieu d'une grande importance historique et culturelle. Les minorités chinoises se sont cachées ici du Tay Son et ont ensuite dû reconstruire la région à deux reprises après l'attaque, selon les estimations, jusqu'à 70% sont morts en tentant de s'échapper sur des bateaux. Ceux qui ont survécu se sont installés et ont commencé à vendre une variété de produits chinois.
Temple de Thien Hau sous influence chinoise Les temples d'Ho Chi Minh offrent un aperçu essentiel des croyances et des coutumes des Vietnamiens, et ce magnifique temple ne fait pas exception! Ce site du patrimoine architectural national, en plus de contenir de belles œuvres d'art et des antiquités, donne un aperçu important des religions folkloriques vietnamiennes pour les habitants et les touristes.
Le marché Ben Thanh dans le district 1 de Ho Chi Minh-Ville est un endroit idéal pour acheter de l'artisanat local, des produits de marque, de l'art vietnamien et d'autres souvenirs. Ici, vous trouverez des étals de restauration à l'intérieur du marché où vous pourrez goûter à la cuisine vietnamienne de colporteur ou simplement vous rafraîchir avec une boisson fraîche lorsque la négociation devient trop. Le marché est grand, difficile à naviguer parfois et il vaut mieux l'éviter pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée, mais cela vaut quand même le détour. Quand la nuit tombe, les restaurants autour du périmètre du marché ouvrent leurs portes, créant une scène animée côté rue remplissant l'air des parfums de nouilles sautées au wok, de poisson grillé et de viandes. L'un des plus anciens monuments de Saïgon, Ben Thanh offre une excellente ambiance absolument authentiquement vietnamienne.

Very good private tour. We saw all the typical sites including the War Rembrants Museum.Palace, Opera House, Post Office and Ben Thanh market. Hillbilly Jack, our guide, was excellent in working with our limitations and modifying the tour as we requested. He is a personable, friendly and knowledgeable young man who gave us a lot of information on his country. He, and our driver, assisted in moving my husband's wheelchair in and out of the immaculate SUV that was our transport. Lunch was included and it was acceptable. We also had the opportunity to stop for Highlands coffee at a local café but we declined due to time constraints. Overall a great tour, I highly recommend the tour and, especially, Hillbilly Jack, our guide.

From start to finish the experience was exceptional. Hillbilly Jack, our tour guide, made sure we knew exactly where to meet him and his driver. We were provided with interesting facts about Vietnam and were free to ask questions etc. We felt safe and comfortable in our taxi, which was spacious and air conditioned. The journey from port to Saigon took approximately 2 hrs but we were entertained all the time by Hillbilly Jack who had acquired his English-American twang from watching movies. Lunch was provided and was fantastic. All in all we couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend.

Outstanding tour! Our guide, Loi, was knowledgeable, flexible, and has a wonderful personality and sense of humor. We had a fabulous time with Hillbilly Jack. Very knowledgeable. Gave us great narration on the two hour drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Very accommodating to our requests. Took great photos for our group. Lots to see and do. The included lunch was delicious. Duc the driver was also amazing. In a place where the traffic is next level, he drove us around all day and we felt safe.
