Description
Cette expérience offre la seule visite directe de Bath à Stonehenge. Le trajet jusqu'à Stonehenge prend un peu moins d'une heure dans chaque sens. Nous utilisons des minibus de luxe avec de grandes fenêtres panoramiques, la climatisation et des sièges confortables pour vous assurer que votre voyage soit relaxant et agréable. En cours de route, le chauffeur / guide vous indiquera tous les sites, des vues panoramiques sur les plaines de Salisbury aux forts de Celtic Hill et aux villages de chaume. Par temps clair, vous pourrez même apercevoir le célèbre cheval blanc de Westbury, l'une des sculptures de Chalk Hill de l'ancien Wessex.

Stonehenge
Vous serez à Stonehenge pour un minimum de 2 heures. C'est amplement le temps de voir Stonehenge correctement et de profiter de la boutique de souvenirs, du café et de la salle d'exposition du centre d'accueil. Le chauffeur/guide triera vos billets à votre arrivée et vous expliquera l'aménagement du site. Le temps passé à Stonehenge est à vous de profiter à votre rythme. Des audioguides sont disponibles en 10 langues différentes à utiliser autour des pierres, ceux-ci sont gratuits mais sous réserve de disponibilité.
Bratton White Horse
Par temps clair, nous pourrons voir le Westbury White Horse, une colline de craie sculptée dans les années 1770. Notre itinéraire offre une vue panoramique sur la plaine de Salisbury et la vallée d'Avon, et passe par Cley Hill, le fort de la colline de l'âge du fer et le tumulus.

Pleasant trip to Stonehenge
The first thing that struck me was the friendliness of the tour guide. She chatted with each of us as we boarded the very comfortable bus/van. The trips out and back to Stonehenge seemed very efficient with just the right amount of pleasant commentary.

Stonehenge awaits. Scarper there now!
Highly recommended tour. Our driver was very informative and helpful and friendly. Our trip left on time and the coach was. Quiet and comfortable. On arrival at Stonehenge our driver made sure we had our tickets, knew where to go, gave tips to get the most of our time. We arrived before the big crowds so had a more pleasant visit. We left as scheduled and another smooth journey back to Bath. A fabulous trip and would happily do it again.

Great half day trip from Bath
Everything we expected. Dan, our driver was very informative and kind. Hiking back to the coach parking lot is a 1.5 mile option over a grassy hill. Great option.

A wonderful excursion. The guide was very professional, attentive, and friendly. It was the half-day visit to Stonehenge, the lowest price, and we do not regret having chosen it.

Stonehenge half-day tour
Wonderful visit to Stonehenge with Scarper tours. Our driver was delightful and informative, and delivered us to the visitor center with our entrance tickets. Walking around Stonehenge was awe inspiring, and even more remarkable than expected.

Excellent time!
Perfect little trip to see Stonehenge. Driver/ guide was excellent- just enough information along the way and in preparation for Stonehenge. Perfect amount of time to see the site, do the exhibition and even get a cup of tea (it was a dreary day). Would highly recommend- we enjoyed ourselves immensely and felt it was well worth our time and money!

Great
We really enjoyed our tour to Stonehenge. The coach was comfortable and we liked that it had seatbelts. The commentary on the drive to and from Stonehenge felt genuine and not overly rehearsed. The time at Stonehenge on our own was just right. There are other options to get to and from Stonehenge but this was perfect for us for the simplicity and efficiency of the whole experience.

1/2 day tour was just enough
Going to Stonehenge is totally worth it. Taking a 1/2 day tour provided easy transportation, sufficient time to be there and set return time. We had 2 whole hours to walk around, eat lunch if you wanted, visit a very interesting exhibit and use the restroom. We were gone exactly 9am-1pm which left the rest of day to explore Bath. Our tour guide was a fairly non-talkative man. I felt we could have learned a lot more about the area and history while in the van for one hour each way. But we also enjoyed some quiet to just enjoy the landscape.
