Cette expérience offre la seule visite directe de Bath à Stonehenge. Le trajet jusqu'à Stonehenge prend un peu moins d'une heure dans chaque sens. Nous utilisons des minibus de luxe avec de grandes fenêtres panoramiques, la climatisation et des sièges confortables pour vous assurer que votre voyage soit relaxant et agréable. En cours de route, le chauffeur / guide vous indiquera tous les sites, des vues panoramiques sur les plaines de Salisbury aux forts de Celtic Hill et aux villages de chaume. Par temps clair, vous pourrez même apercevoir le célèbre cheval blanc de Westbury, l'une des sculptures de Chalk Hill de l'ancien Wessex.

Itinéraire
Vous serez à Stonehenge pour un minimum de 2 heures. C'est amplement le temps de voir Stonehenge correctement et de profiter de la boutique de souvenirs, du café et de la salle d'exposition du centre d'accueil. Le chauffeur/guide triera vos billets à votre arrivée et vous expliquera l'aménagement du site. Le temps passé à Stonehenge est à vous de profiter à votre rythme. Des audioguides sont disponibles en 10 langues différentes à utiliser autour des pierres, ceux-ci sont gratuits mais sous réserve de disponibilité.
Par temps clair, nous pourrons voir le Westbury White Horse, une colline de craie sculptée dans les années 1770. Notre itinéraire offre une vue panoramique sur la plaine de Salisbury et la vallée d'Avon, et passe par Cley Hill, le fort de la colline de l'âge du fer et le tumulus.
Nous voyons des chaumières et une prison historique dans le cadre de notre voyage.

The tour included a narrated one hour ride to Stonehenge (and back) on a comfortable, air conditioned van. The driver was friendly and able to answer questions. We were allowed ample time to view the site and exhibits.
This is a great half day experience - a beautiful ride through the exquisite countryside between Bath and Stonehenge with some light and just right commentary from our guide/driver. We loved wandering through the site and were very glad that our guide encouraged us to explore the museum, as well. All together, a fabulous day.
The tour from Bath to Stonehenge with Scraper Tours was convenient. Scarper Tours was quick to reply to my email. Dan, the driver, gave us commentaries along the way that prepared us for what to see at Stonehenge plus other interesting information about places along the way. He pointed out the White Horse chalk carving in Wiltshire which we could see from a distance. The ride was very smooth and an informative one. Our ticket included the entrance fee to Stonehenge. We took the tour with our luggage, left the luggage in the bus and got them after our tour of Stonehenge. . Dan was very helpful to point out the bus stop & bus number for Salisbury, our final destination for the day. Thank you, Dan.

The meeting point was easy to locate. Dan is a friendly, softly spoken , courteous driver with great knowledge of Bath and surrounding areas, pointing out landmarks and things of intetest , which he shared with the group on the bus along the way. The timings were accurate, Dan gave us all the outline of the days trip before we left Bath and reiterated it before we left the bus at Stonehenge. I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was thoroughly enjoyable and made better by having a great driver!
Dan our driver was a careful driver, his commentary about Bath was really good. He was friendly, courteous and patient. He outlined what our tour would include and gave direction to the tour group as to timing of the day, how long we could spend at Stonehenge and meeting time to return to Bath.
The trip was comfortable and it was fun seeing the site.
