La Grande Mosquée du Sultan Qaboos est l'une de ces attractions à ne pas manquer si vous venez à Mascate. C'est l'une des mosquées modernes les plus merveilleuses et les plus luxueuses au monde.

Visitez le souk de Mutrah, l'un des plus anciens marchés d'Oman, datant d'environ deux cents ans et découvrez des artefacts et des objets de collection omanais, notamment un groupe d'armes conventionnelles, des bijoux, des vêtements, des épices, des antiquités, quelques stands de nourriture, des articles ménagers et certains anciens modèles représentant les milieux ruraux et urbains omanais.
La résidence royale d'Al Alam est la résidence royale de cérémonie du sultan Qaboos et se trouve au cœur de l'ancienne Mascate. Construite en 1972, la résidence royale peut être un bel exemple de design islamique moderne.
Al Mirani Post & Al Jalali Fortification a été construit par les Portugais au XVIe siècle, sa proximité domine le port et contribue au célèbre siège de Mascate.
L'une des caractéristiques uniques du marché aux poissons de Mutrah est son système d'enchères traditionnel. Les pêcheurs rapportent leurs prises et les acheteurs se lancent dans des enchères animées pour obtenir les meilleures sélections. Cette pratique séculaire contribue non seulement à l’économie locale, mais ajoute également un élément d’enthousiasme au marché.

We used Loay from Oman Tours for airport transfers, 1/2 day city tour, Nizwah day tour and he also organised a 1/2 day snorkelling tour for us during our 3 day/2 night stop over. He was a great guide, very flexible and informative. I would recommend Oman Tours for any tours from Muscat.
First trip with friends in 2023 where we discovered Muscat, Jebel Shams, Nizwa, Jebel Akhdar, Wahiba Sands, and Sur in 8 days very rich in magnificent discoveries and encounters with a guide, Saïd Al Khatri, very professional, who knows how to help you discover and appreciate his country that he knows very well. We went to many places where we would never have gone alone. I repeated my solo visit twice (2024 and 2025) and called on his services again with just as much satisfaction in the handling and organization to discover even more in depth, further off the beaten path. To see the top of the city, this trip is fine. The guide absolutely available. Perhaps to enjoy this tour to the fullest, it would take more time because our impression is that it is a bit too fast without dedicating the right time to everything. It would be better to do more calmly in a whole day

This was such a lovely way to see Muscat, which is a very interesting and pretty place. Add in a kind and knowledgable driver and a very comfortable car and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Muscat for the first time!

We had an amazing experience with Basher on the half-day Muscat city tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The pace of the tour was ideal — not rushed, yet we covered all the key highlights. Was a wonderful day with the guide Loay. He explained all in detail and gave us more information about local life, the tea and coffee and sweets was amazing. Driving experience calm and trustworthy. We had an excellent tour of Muscat with Hawwa. She was very knowledgeable and shared such interesting insights about life in Muscat. She adapted to our needs within the tour to allow for more time at the places we wanted to stay. Hawwa was on time and confirmed in advance (even though we only booked the night before!).
