Une fois que vous êtes pris à l'embarcadère, préparez-vous pour une demi-journée d'exploration. Vous pouvez choisir parmi trois options de circuit, chacune avec sa propre destination : Sete Cidades ou Lagoa do Fogo ou même d'autres options peuvent être envisagées dans le laps de temps disponible.

Lieux et horaires de prise en charge
La prise en charge est gratuite et incluse si vous vous trouvez dans la ville de Ponta Delgada ou dans les villes voisines (Lagoa et Ribaira Grande) - des frais supplémentaires peuvent s'appliquer à d'autres emplacements. Nous viendrons vous chercher au terminal de croisière. Nous serons à 9 heures du matin (une autre heure de prise en charge peut être définie) prêts à être pris en charge à l'embarcadère à l'intérieur du terminal, au rez-de-chaussée, devant la porte d'arrivée, avec le nom du voyageur principal sur un panneau. De plus, si pour une raison quelconque le navire accoste au quai commercial, il se trouvera au quai devant le navire avec le nom du voyageur principal sur un panneau. (Merci de ne prendre aucune navette).

- Aussi, nous tenons à vous avertir que la dernière rangée sur le véhicule 4x4 est un peu difficile à monter aussi et les genoux seront un peu hauts pendant le voyage , Ce ne sera pas un problème pour les adolescents ,les personnes agiles ou plus petites, mais ce sont les sièges les moins confortables, et le véhicule sera à son max.

Brilliant jeep tour with Goncalves at T4W. He picked us up at the hotel, spoke fantastic English and was very knowledgeable in an interesting way. He drove safely at all times and gave us enough time to take photos and see each sight, including a sea swim. Thoroughly recommend this company and this guide.
We had a fantastic afternoon driving to Sete Cidades. Although you can drive to the main viewpoints in your rental car, I loved the fact that this tour gave me a break from driving so that I could properly enjoy the incredible views as a passenger. The route our guide took led us right up to and along the crater rim; a track only accessible by 4x4 in parts, with views to take your breath away. Our guide was great at telling us interesting stories and facts about the island and the geology of the area. He was responsive to our needs and interests and we always felt safe and comfortable with his driving. We appreciated being picked up and dropped off at our accommodation. Overall an unmissable experience Thankyou!
I booked with T4W to see Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo and Furnas across three days, and it was easily the best money spent. The team employs very knowledgeable and highly passionate guides with excellent English-speaking skills, and by booking a private tour we got to adjust our itinerary based on our personal interests and what the weather allowed for. Of the three major destinations Furnas was my favorite. There is an easily accessible viewpoint where you are treated to an incredible view of the lake and the neighboring town. It's not quite as majestic as the view at the peak of Lagoa do Fogo, but still one you absolutely cannot miss. If you are a fan of tea than your visit to Furnas should include a stop by the Gorreana or Porto Formoso Tea Factories. At Gorreana you can sample black and green teas, and it is the larger of the two. Porto Formoso only serves black tea, but includes a picturesque garden you can wander following the tour. We're not fans of green tea, and we love gardens, so naturally we stuck with Porto Formoso. The bulk of our day was spent exploring Terra Nostra garden. The garden does not take very long to traverse, but there is so much to see that you can easily spend over an hour touring the grounds. This is also the site of the famous Terra Nostra hotel, and entry to the gardens provides access to bathe in the hotel's hot spring. Personally though I'd recommend visiting the hot springs near Lagoa do Fogo. There's quite a mix to see in Terra Nostra garden. Personally I'm a huge fan of the hydrangeas - we saw a mix of blue, purple, pink and even white ones. Another section includes humorous stone carvings of various animals, which look even more quirky now that they're covered in moss. My kids though mostly enjoyed chasing each other across a multitude of paths and hanging out with the resident cat. Because we spent so much time in Terra Nostra garden we only took a brief spin through the neighboring town. There's a lot to learn though - in particular, the traditional methods for using the hot vents to cook food.
We had a wonderful time traveling around the Island. We were on a cruise excursion. I would definitely do this again and Highly recommend to others. We were able to see everything and get a more personalized experience. I am so glad we did this!!

We had such an amazing tour with Delfim! We were traveling on a cruise and only had the day in Ponta Delgada and this tour was perfect for us and our 4 year old. He was very friendly, had great conversation, and was very knowledgeable about the island. It was nice to have the flexibility to choose what we wanted to see and also have him take us around to hidden gems. Highly recommend this tour!
We had a phenomenal trip with Luis as our driver introducing us to the Azores for a four hour tour including off road areas around Sete Cidades. We were able to stop at our leisure to explore some small trails, the remaining aquaducts and assorted views as the weather changes throughout the tour (mist, fog, sunlight, all part of the Azores charm.) We stopped for a delicious coffee at the lake edge and then returned downtown. He provided us with an extensive history of the Azores in addition to a tour of the area to truly appreciate the unique geography of the island. We requested to be dropped to walk downtown and he provided a great stop at the church which we were able to enter. With his explanation of the Azores background it made the church visit much more meaninful. I highly recommend this tour group for Azores visits.
